The game deleted all my achievement progression for no reason at all, back to 0 on Seriously 2.0 and had to complete the game again to unlock Insane. Which I can't be bothered to play now cause I've just been through the game twice :/

I still want to try to get to level 50 with Horde some day, if someone feels like playing Horde soon please post it, maybe we can get to try 5 people together to try to beat it.

Maybe a stupid question but how exactly do you host a game? Is it under private instead of public when server searching? I don't have many friends so cant invite anyone you see.

You can only host your own private games. Open Horde from the main title menu and I think it defaults to private. If you change to make it public it puts you into matchmaking instead. I think it's to stop people 'boosting' by only playing the same map over and over etc.

I was playing horde and got to level 50, but had missed 8 on the way (it says 42/50). Is there a way of telling which 8 I've missed?

Start up a game as described above and open the 'start wave' option. Any waves that don't appear in the scroll-down list haven't been completed yet.

I put this on this morning for the first time after it had sat sealed on my shelf since release with the intention of playing a couple of levels, and have just completed it. Absolutely loved it from start to finish!

I can't remember the last time I played a game all the way through in pretty much one go.

How people can get to level 50 is beyond me,the highest i've managed is level 21 and that was a miracle.Mind you i've only stared playing this online for a few weeks so maybe i'm just not good enough

I was playing Horde with 2 randoms last night and we got to level 18. Then we all died so I got kicked back to the lobby screen, and my only option was to search for a new game with new people and start again on level 1.

Is there any way I can start again from level 18, and get the Xbox to give me some people on my team? I've got no friends, so have to team up with random people

I once got to level 45 before my machine froze up. The key is having a good team and defending a base using the heavy weapons and of course shields. Collecting ammo between rounds is highly important of course as those fvckers don't go down easily at all. It's insane, actually, just how much lead they can take...

What weapon combos do people use the most?

I tend to stick with Lancer as the primary and the Boomshot as a backup for those moment of chaos when you find yourself being ambushed from both sides, with Grinders and Boomers closing in, etc.

The Longshot is just too hit and miss, I find, so I reckon the Torque Bow is the best for sniping.

Does anyone use the Hammerburst? Just seems so **** compared to the Lancer, with it's smallish magazine and max ammo. More powerful, yes, but unless you can wield it with skill, a liability.

So unless I've got 4 friends who all start playing at the same time in a private match, I'm going to struggle to get to lvl 50 playing with randoms if I have to restart from lvl 1 every time. That's a bit annoying.
