eastyy, does the ultra hit them while they're falling down? Does it need to be the EX headbutt or will the regular one do?

the first hit will after the ultra you have to hold down the kick buttons so the rest of the ultra does uppercuts....that juggles.....its not much Good in a corner ....but during a match if in the middle of the area....its possible to get all the hits connect

i think it has to be a heavy punch headbutt to do it

Balrog's my fav, also finished all his trials.

Light headbutt works too, and EX also. My most used combo is j.HK, c.lpx2, Headbutt -> Ultra. Its about 12 hits if done properly. There is some sort of timing involved with his Ultra juggle.

Charge punch is good, but only use level 1 charges. The others are too punishable. Its good to gain ground from afar, and safe on block. Proper zoning is key. His Super can very easily be chained from his charge punch, since the input can be done on hit. But his EX moves are much better actually.

That's probably because everyone knows what to expect when you play as Ryu/Ken/Sagat. They are clearly the highest played characters online.

As soon as you go with someone a little more leftfield, a lot of people don't really know how to deal with what you bring to the table.

From what I notice, alot of his air throws in that vid are occurring after the hit frames, so that's not surprising. Though I was quite surprised at air-throwing Blanka out of his super.

I know Abel's Falling Sky can grab out of an active hurricane kick though.

Balrog is awesome in this game; used right he's total destruction. I did play a piss-poor one last night though, who just kept walking backwards, then attempting to rush punch from a whole screen away - have a hard kick in the face. Have another, oh & another

I airthrow a lot in this game, just a moment ago I played 30 matches against an online friend on PSN (who is in the 5500 BP range on Live); with Guile I abused quite a lot of LP Sonic boom, airthrows and his Bison couldn't do that much against it but to stop jumping.

Throws have huge priority in SFIV, which is why Zangief is so high tiered, and Airthrows are actually no different.

He hardly teleported, Bison's not his main anyway
But then again, Guile isn't my main. His El Fuerte was pretty sick, sickest I've seen so far. well, tbh I haven't seen many and thus I didn't know what to expect. I won with Zangief with like, 10% health left in final round.

His Claw destroyed my Boxer. And my Abel beat his good Sagat (roll is really, really useful given the high grapple priority, that and Ex qcb+k).

Really, SFIV seems to be a pretty damned balanced game. The lowest tier is not entirely without a chance against the highest tier. If both players can play a decent game.
