    Same here.

I believe I'm on chapter one as I'm (still) in a jungle environment after playing for a good hour or so this morning.

It's an enjoyable experience but the pacing is a bit off at times.

It's a bit strange but according to Activision there is some sort PS3 to iPhone link-up for this game.

Hey everyone! If you?ve yet to check out X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the PS3 demo is now available via the PlayStation Network, so download it today!

And, a new iPhone Application has released for X-Men Origins: Wolverine The Game, and for PS3 owners, there?s plenty reason to get excited.
On every PS3 Back of Box, shoppers will notice a 3-slash ?icon? beside the game description. Using the new iPhone App, entitled ?Feral Sense,? users can utilize a new photo recognition technology to snap a photo of the icon to unlock 3D screenshots, trailers, wallpapers and more exclusive content directly on their iPhones.

Not only that, PlayStation.Blog is the exclusive home to another of the Wolverine App?s unlockable icons. Once you?ve downloaded the ?Feral Sense? App from the iTunes Store, click the icon you see below and then capture the icon. You will gain instant access to even more content, compliments of PlayStation.Blog!

Click here to visit Uncaged.com, where you can learn more on how the application works, as well as gain access to all 5 iPhone icons for the X-Men Origins: Wolverine ?Feral Sense? iPhone Application.

i've never liked the Devil May Cry, Ninja wotsit type of games like this but after enjoying the demo a lot gave this a try.

on the plus side love the control of Logan and how visceral it all feels (seems visceral is the word of choice for this but it fits), on the down side level design is awful, repetitive, tedious and bland. the most unforgiveable thing though is the way you keep fighting the same mini bosses again and again then they double, treble and quadruple them up on you, I thought this sort of thing went out ages ago.

game of 2 halves this, like the character and control but levels are boring, reopetitive and far far too long.

        decent effort but not stellar

I concur that this game is great fun.

And long. Far longer than the Spider-man games. Feels like I've been playing longer than I played Assassin's Creed too.

wow, what a great game. this must be the best underrated action game since 50 Cent... i've played 5 hours without interruption and this says much! in terms of action and gameplay -- i dare to say -- this rivals God of War. how long is this game?

Started playing this (360) last night after clocking Assassin's Creed, what a change of direction(!)

On the first few times I've booted it up, I've not been that impressed by the graphics, the frame rate always seemed pretty low, looking to be 20fps-30fps, it put me off a bit, it reminded me of the time I played PS2 Van Helsing directly after having completed God Of War. Having bit the bullet and actually taken time to properly play it, the graphics still feel a tad rough but the game is so chock-full of action that such a factor becomes a truly petty point when put against the gameplay, which is a proper knapsack full of liquid fun.

Only at the top-end of the second section right now, a very long, generic underground military base, the combat feels very instinctive, simpler than many similar games but it's so incredibly quick and satisfying, no fancy-footing about, you can just *ATTACK* a target with great swiftness and brutality, you just get totally to the point, injection-like, no messing, it's nice. I haven't had much hassle, so far, but when I *do* die, rather than get frustrated/irritated, I'm feeling more "COME ON!!!", eager to fight the bastards who killed me again, but with greater ferocity, sure in the knowledge my increased gaming anger will sort them out, this time around (which is very cool).

To be honest, I know sod-all about the X-Men, I have no interest in the comics (nor have ever read them), the dull films either, I have a dislike for Hugh Jackman after seeing Australia (a film which justifies suicide, imho), I don't really have a reason for liking the game but Raven have just done such a bloody good job with such a 'commercial' game, +plus+ the Jackman model is spookily Jackmanlike.

Rough as f*ck but one hell of a great, no-pretenses action game, so far.

Finished this a few hours back, with a Level 33 Wolverine with 1356 kills (it felt like even more!) and have to say there was never a moment I got too frustrated and I can fully concur with previous posters that it's a game that 'never gets boring'.

Having no knowledge of the movie, I was expecting

a massively tough, screen-filling behemoth (maybe two Leviathans?) as a last boss but was kind of chuffed that there wasn't, the movie sequences you get after the last boss more than compensate for his comparative weediness

                .

It's a testament to the game that I've started playing through it a second time (I never do that these days), mainly to milk the statistics, find all the dog tags, get my kills maxed out to 2000 etc. and what's great is, it feels even more fun now, now I'm not going through it blind, I find the environmental kills very easy to pull off now, the counters I've got down pat, plus after completing three of the bonus challenge modes and getting the classic Wolverine costume (which is well-cool) it makes the game feel less serious and more OTT in the fun stakes.

An extremely bloody, bloody good game!

I was given this game as a freebie last week, it would never have been something that I would have gone out of my way to buy, but I ended up really enjoying it.

Some of it was a bit samey, in fact a lot of it was, but that is to be expected with this type of format. The platforming aspects were very clunky and the game could have quite easily managed without that side being implemented.

However after the first few levels I started to enjoy it, especially the counter moves, and the use of scenery to kill people....I never did tire of impaling some poor bastard onto a spear, a spike or even flinging them of a ledge. A lot of the death animations were superb, in particular the counter shotgun head shot with those ghosts was very satisfying.

In fact a lot of the combat was nicely done, and once mastered it is down to the player to decide how he should dispose of the enemy - I liked that, and it's probably why I stuck at it through what is very much a restrictive and boring level design.

The boss fights were just about varied enough to keep me on my toes, although I wouldn't call them a highlight, although the sheer scale of one in particular was comical.

I just want to add that wolverine is one hard mother****er
