Agree with everything everyone has said about this, its just utterly fantastic. It's got that perfect balance of challenge and fun that so few games actualy have, plus it looks great and just oozes charm, the level design is top notch and its very inventive.

Quite possibley the best downloadable game released on any console so far.

Only got to try the demo today, really liked it...but I have a slight reservation.

Since it's been out a day and will have been fragged by now, is it long and does it vary? I enjoyed what I played but I had the feeling it could get a bit boring!

I'm only upto level 1-10 or something. It's got a bit tricky now, no space for experimentation it's a bit of a dash to the finish. Still enjoying it a lot. I'd stop short of the hyperbole "Best Live Title EVER!", far too early to judge if anyone will still play it next month, but it's very enjoyable.

I think for the money it's a good buy, as it does what it does very well. Very polished, even if lasts you only a week, for 800 points I don't think you can fault it The characterisation is enjoyable, this was made by a team who love their games

The quality of Live titles these last few weeks has been superb; Worms 2, BF1943, Monkey Island, now this

My other main concern is...will anyone be playing this in a week? I loved N+ and the co-op in that was just amazing (still my favourite XBLA title to date) but it'd be nice if in a weeks time there are still people to play live co-op with!

I get where you are coming from with "fun for a week" but I'm kinda sick of buying games that last a week, hence the recent purchases (from me) of Battlefield 1943, Burnout Paradise etc!

I finished it after i finished my dinner. Enjoyed it throughly, the last boss is rediculously easy but really funny. Great end credits too!

Just tried the demo. It's not for me. Dull and like it's stablemate, The Maw, it's character design just pisses me off.

I played the demo and found it pretty addictive, but the main character is really annoying, sounds like that crazy frog thing from a while back :P

He says some funny things randomly. You will giggle when you hear them.

The only thing that irks me is the bloody loadtimes, i've no idea why they are so long. Theres even a long one for the main menu.

I enjoyed him saying "Bored Bored Bored". It was like he was in tune with me. Didn't enjoy The Maw, didn't like N+, so unsurprisingly, really didn't like this either (other than him giggling and saying he was bored). Ho hum.

This really is very similar to N+ isn't it? Still umming and aahing over it, but it seems to be N+ with more character to it...

I'm loving it at the moment. I like the way each mechanic is very slowly introduced to you then suddenly you're knee deep in fat scientists

I really can't see the n+ comparison bar there is lots of wall jumping

Well, I found it fun - then I got to the (first?) boss level. Yeah, great idea that. You're about 15 pixels high on the bottom of the screen, can barely see what you're doing, fighting off attacks from a giant robot. You die once, and you go back to the start of the boss battle. Brilliant

Did no one play that and realise it's ****ing frustrating?

I keep getting past the eye lasers, to the second rocket wave, when I somehow get grabbed and insta-killed. Amazing how out of place it feels, how lifeless compared to the rest of the game, and how ****ing stupid it is having you try to platform jump when you can hardly see yourself. That bit must be virtually unplayable on a SD TV.

You can't grasp the N+ comparsion? The core gameplay mechanic may be different (exploding as opposed to jumping) but the result is the same, wall jumping, jumping huge gaps, avoiding rockets, lasers etc, avoiding pit falls.

I'd say this is a really good game, but it's just not as good as N+ for me. At least so far. N+ had more of those "OH CRAP" moments for me, where I just say made a jump/got out of the way of a rocket and it felt oh-so satisfying.

The donut man/music is amazing though.

Also, for the childish one's amongst us (me and my friend ) try sticking your 2 guys against 1 wall. They have a good time.

It even has the "slide down walls" and "jump from wall slide over obstacle to slide other wall" puzzles! It's SO N+ it's unreal!

Bought the full game today, enjoying it, but I agree with Synthesthesia, not as good as N+ so far, but also, the co-op in this...you *have* to play with friends, it's unplayable when you try a quick match.
