The only thing this game needs is an offline party mode. It would be great to set up a mixture of tracks and skill events with each player taking it in turns and given a total score at the end.

It would take over from Flatout as the final game to play at LAN parties (you need something light after six hours on L4D).

I'm stuck at work playing the iPhone version just to pass the time :/ I need to play this again!

IPhone game is called mx mayhem, it controls great but there aren't many levels.

I've got that. There's supposed to be a free update soon with loads more levels.

Not a patch on Trials, but pretty good for 59p.

I couldn't agree more, this really would make a great "pass the controller" party game. I've got a bunch of mates coming round to mine for beers and Moto GP on sunday and whilst normally after the race we have a "get the best time on todays track" race off on Moto GP 08 I'm sure this would've gone down a storm too. Maybe (fingers crossed) it'll become available in an update or as part of a (not too pricey please!) dowloadable extra .

Yeah, the game would really benefit from a multiplayer mode of any kind, and would surely convince all those liking the game who haven't bought it because they can't see themselves playing it in a couple weeks time to snap it up.

well, I was one of those but have now snapped it up.

The people who have said this game eats time is completely true. I've spent 3 hours on it and it felt like I had only played for an hour or so. I've completed up to the second extreme track which took me 20 minutes.

Anyone who isn't on my friends list send me an invite! Gamertag: Malc Johnson

The harder it's getting, the more I'm appreciating it. Very inventive uses, and the physics holds up well.

However, I'm not going to timetrial the Hard or Extreme levels, that would take way too much practice

He, I can't even get to my own score again yet.

Just got this tonight and as expected from plenty of PC version action, it's superb.

The loading times have been mentioned but it bares repeating - the instant restart and quick loads really help the one more go factor. This version is incredibly polished and the friend score tracking is the exact sort of carrot on a stick one needs.

Anyone sitting on the fence after playing the PC version to death - rest assured it's got plenty to offer and feels much less an indie game (as the PC did at times) and more a polished full release (if that's not your thing then well :P to you).

Did you get up that sodding upward slope with a crate plopped in the middle? Y'know, just after the bit where you go backwards?

Because I went from 4 faults to 300 in about ten minutes on that damn slope. I had to turn my Xbox off in the end before it consumed my entire night.

I imagine if I'd gotten past that and then hit the Back button I'd be ready to break my own thumbs to teach them a lesson.

I must have put a couple of hours into it but just got the 15g for the Unyielding achievement, doing Groundhog returns without leaning your rider.

Its an interesting achievement as really highlighted the subtlety of throttle control possible in the game.

I'm really not into achievements usually and never put so much time into getting one, something so compulsive about this game.

Yeah, I seem to remember getting past that bit, after the backwards bit with the bombs on the floor. Hate it, it's unbelieveable! I got to these extremely tight slopes IIRC. I should cover the back button in acid on these levels, as a deterrent, and a punishment, should i happen to touch it.

Malc's skijump score is insane, I can't even get close to most of you guys let alone that monster!

I put in some pretty good scores for the other events though Prinny what's your GT?

What is Malc's skijump score? Mine is a paltry 134.60 IIRC. Proud of my hill climb though (80-odd metres)

Edit: nnnnoooooooo he's beaten that too. No more posters for you laddie.
