That said, the paint job on the rear of the drums is really awful close up.

So are there any bundle packs for RB2 instruments similar to the "Band in a Box" bundle that came with RB1?

There is a Value Bundle which includes the game and the regular instruments. Though when I looked at those earlier this week there was no mention of whether those included the wireless RB2 instruments or not.

I know everyone been talking about them but I finally got to the dreamscapes this afternoon.

I'd stayed away from any real media of the game up until now so they were something of a surprise. Brilliant stuff - visually stunning and so colourful. There's something quite evocative about the switch at the beginning and end between the studio and the dreams.

I'm resisting the urge to, but I'm going to say it anyway:

There was a pre-order offer that shops were doing which gave you access to an exclusive photo album which isn't normally available. I didn't pre-order it but the codes are online for people who want them.

It unlocks 4 additional photos & 28 pieces of concept art, it DOESN'T unlock the 104 standard photos that you get by playing through the game.

You need to go to the blue title screen with the Beatles logo that tells you to press the start button and type in these codes on the guitar.

Strangely, it didn't work when using my GH3 guitar but it does using my new Beatles Gretsch. I don't know if it will with other instruments or not.

I've only had time to try a couple of songs so far. I would have started Story mode but I'm off to Milan for the Italian F1 GP in a few hours. My immediate impressions are that the presentation is fantastic & I can't wait now to get started with it properly.
I can't get my head, or rather voice round the harmonies though. I play the RB & GH primarily on Expert Vocals (not saying I can sing... just hold a tune) but both my other half & 3 year old son where in hysterics as I kept being told in the tutorial that I might want to take another go to get the hang of it.

This is the most enjoyable RB game to play. I wasn't overly into the beatles but i'm soon discovering their genius.

Their music is an absolute joy to listen to and play, which makes it the most pleasurable Story Mode in a Rock Band game.

Museumsteve i got the jet duo yesterday, its a lovely bit of kit, and i would say its almost full size, I really really like it but theres no way they are worth ?90, you feel like you are paying an extra ?30 as its says as played by george harrsion on the box, the new is the best by far, as far as the guitars goes its feels more solid than the GHWT one but it comes at a premium thats for sure.
