I think most of us are cross forum users, and I try to keep the same location and Avatar where ever I post.

If you see Jackie Stewart talking games or life online, it’s probably me!

I've just bought a copy of the ultimate edition of this as well. I have the same opinion of finding GT5 really tiring after a short time, and it's amazing how modern this game feels in every way to GT5, career progression, damage, AI etc.

Just attempting some hot lap leaderboards action and I see the usual suspects are up there (yes I'm looking at you ThaForce and Senna! ). Can't figure out what car you are using round Silverstone for the R2 class though..?

Ha, I haven't played Forza 3 for so long I'll have to go and check Malc. I saw TheForce playing Forza 3 the other night, and was about to challenge him to a race but had to log off after playing Beyond Good and Evil so long my eyes started to hurt I really miss the races we used to have from fellow forumites, I'd love to get even a couple of evenings booked in at some point for old times sake.

          ..... pfff sissy boy.......

But yes, after finally owning my own Honda S2000 (OHHH YEAAHHH) I dusted off Forza3 to do fresh up my Nordschleife skills to get ready for the summer. Doing this got me going again online as well....
Forza3 does a lot of things very good, but not being able to race online with the cars and tracks I like got me bored pretty fast.

I too have great memories of the many nights we played Forza2 with a lot of like minded people from the forum, that was an absolute blast !!

I'm looking forward to Forza4 ofcourse, but the fire isn't burning yet....

Lol, nothing changes huh you still can't face the reality of my speed beeatch

I know what you mean about Forza 4, I'm sure I'll start to get excited closer to launch, but I need to be sure that the online part of it is better than it was in Forza 3.

I've gone back to this after a year or so away, and instantly just gone back into the paint menus and made some stuff and looked at all the designs that are available, as if I've never been away. I've only reached driver level 15 after a year and a half, but I must have spent 30-40 hours painting and browsing. They should make a game that's just that.

You should try Gran Turismo. About the only thing you are rewarded with is ****ing paint. Its a paint-em-up!

But can you make your own?

No idea, it doesn't interest me in the slightest!

I really hope the paint mode in Forza 4 doesn't change a single bit. Latest work in progress, since I've just become addicted to the painting all over again. Apparently there's some racing modes in here somewhere.

i've finally got around to playing this since having it on my shelf for ages at the weekend and its rather good. i've always been a fan of the gran turismo games but at the weekend i couldn't stop playing this game.

the things i did like was you do well in a race and a manufacturer sends you a car and you level up your cars in races to get new parts with 10% off etc.

I spent more time looking at the upgrade options to all the cars i had aquired and these seemed better layed out than gt5 as there was brakes to upgrade, engine swaps and everything else you could want to change/upgrade.

i wonder if gt5 developers spent too much time on the car details than actual gameplay, tuning options etc. i havent played gt5 for a while so they may have added a lot more with a game update.

do any of you guys still play it on live ?

i've heard there will be a forza 3 profile import in forza 4 which sounds great and will make the game easier to start off and the online mode where you can race rivals, hope we can make a ntsc-uk gang on forza 4
