A question regarding difficulty, I lowered the difficulty from Veteran to Hardened whilst playing the level 'Takedown', is there any way I can turn it back up to Veteran?

I only see the option to lower difficulty in the pause menu and want to play the rest of the game on Veteran.

I'm on the 360 version. It's mostly ground war games that are lagging, but sometimes there is issues on team deathmatch. The party issues within this game are annoying too.

Just go to the mission select and select the level after takedown and play it on veteran.

Just finished on harderned in 9 hours and after some trepidation with the early American levels,where like Jebus said it can be a pain to distinguish between the two sides,I really enjoyed it.The airport level is a bit off putting,but most of the 141 levels are great and playing in the Rio level kept making me think of Operation Wolf in the arcades(I worked out after that it was looking down the sight and all the chickens chucking away).Spec-Ops is great and I even tried MP online for the first time,which with all the lists and classes is a bit confusingbut great fun.As my first time online the speed of the game was quite nerve-racking at first and hearing "rent boys"whispered down the headset at the end of the first round made me unplug it,but I came 3rd and 4th in the next two rounds.I thought the game matches you by level groups but most of the people in the game where between level 25-40 so they seem to know everything about the levels,but I had a great time shooting them as they climbed up the ladders to get a height advantage before someone came behind me and blew my head off.The score is very fitting and graphically it's a fair step up from from MW,so I must say I'm very happy with it and for ?26 it was a steal.Is Ghost meant to be Gaz or are they just on a wind up using Craig Fairbrass again?And just finally did anyone else notice how IW credits scroll like a flim but when it get to Activision it speeds up like a cheap TV show.

i found Multiplayer confusing at first, but after getting the hang of the new levels after a few goes, along with the new equipment and guns etc id say im enjoying it as much as MW1.

also, stay away from care packages during hardcore. i called one in behind me, then got killed by the crate as it landed, and bounced into me.

That's not just in hardcore, it happens in normal games as well, I've been killed by a rolling crate several times now. Even more annoying when your own teammates aren't around and the opposition steals it only for it to be a Pave Low!

Completed this now. The last act or whatever, For The Record, is pretty awesome. Too stupid for words, but a lot of fun regardless. Felt proper COD style action.

Managed a 31 kill streak on this tonight, getting usually at least one kill streak above 25 a day now so I reckon I should unlock the Tactical Nuke for my next Killstreak! Still loving this, changed to the M16 now as I maxed everything out in the FAMAS apart from the headshots, only have about 100 with it. Now have the title "Get to the Choppa!" after my constant Chopper Gunner killstreaks!

Up to 20 hours online now and level 43 I think. It's so much better when you are playing with a group of friends and you all play it properly helping each other out and playing as an actual team. Makes things much easier.

i noticed that kills gained by air support dont count towards your killstreak perks, how the hell did you reach 31?!

Yeh they do. What we think is that kills gained from a Care Package don't count. My killstreaks are Predator Missile, Harrier Strike and Chopper Gunner, they all counted towards the 31 streak.

Couldn't have managed without them!

First lag today. Had to quit out of the game as I was jumping from place to place and it wasn't good. Seems a tad unfair that I have to take it as a loss though.

Confusing or not I ended up playing to 3am after starting at 9pm.I went to bed and the few hours sleep I had were terrible,I've been on it again today and my vision is all over the place from zooming in and out with the sights.I can see this being dangerously addictive.Have to play free-for-all as I've just joined Live and there is no let up what so ever.At level 20 and starting to get some of the good stuff you see the other players killling you with but I need some sleep.

I can confirm that... It actually says on one of the loading screen info pages that care package perks dont count towards killstreaks.

Loving this so far and have not started the SP yet lol.

Few gripes tho:

Dual weilds are **** and too powerfull - esp on last stand. lifted from Halo imo..

Emblems and titles are lifted straight out of SFVI - not very original imo...

Heartbeat sensors are just too much in MP. Radar is fine on its own.
