I found this while looking for tips. I found it quite scary watching some of the videos of guns from the game in real life. More so, some of the people firing them. I also thought that some of the weapons were make belief in the game, but apparently not so.

In one of the sniper rifle videos, the guy picks up the massive sniper rifle and fires while standing!

I got embarrassed when our lass walks in when I am playing and some high pitched American teen is squealing and squeaking down the mic.

...and therein lies my main irk with XBOX LIVE in general.

If I'm playing an 18 rated game I do not want to play children in the online modes.

Don't know how they can police it, but it's just not on.

I didn't know you could do that. So if my friends I play with too do it then we can just talk away as normal without having to mute everyone every game you join. Quite useful!

though on the rare occasion you do get a decent set of fellers playing hardcore TDM, its good to communicate where the enemy is etc

I never find people playing this that I can talk to anymore. Everyone is either 10 years old and camping or just a complete arsehole who wants to mock and shout at everyone in the lobby.

Played a bit of groundwar domination yesterday, marathon+lightweight ftw and captured the most points and we won - k/d sucked but was having to much fun to care. In the lobby after the match got abuse from my team because I wasn't playing the game right WTF!

Who are these idiots -k/d, k/d, k/d, k/d, its all I here from them. Considering the vast majority of their kills come from killstreaks, I find it puzzling that they think their the ****!

From time to time I have a go at playing tactically (camping) and do well but its boring, you don't wanna be a headless chicken but at least try a see more than one quarter of the map during each round, surely?

I still enjoy the game, but continue to marvel at human behaviour e.g.

• An enemy returns for revenge 3 times and gets taken out by a well placed clamore each time
• Your team has a numerical advantage on search & destroy, plant the bomb surely its 3 on 2. NO that would be too easy, hey presto you lose a round because of your team trying to each be John Rambo
• Everyone is above level 30 but ONLY you shoot down air support

Its fun but tough being a lone wolf sometimes

I agree it still amazes me the amount of people who respawn and make a revenge fuelled return to the scene of the crime. I 100% expect it now and generally hang around a few seconds after killing someone just to kill them again... idiots.


I think the general rule is MW2 is a victim of its own popularity. I dislike Halo 3 for the same reasons... too many elitist, immature idiots proclaiming themselves gods of the community.

er why are they playing domination if they want k/d? idiots. if you want k/d you have to stick to FFA and be good, unless there's something I've never noticed about domination.
