OKay akimbo shotguns indeed suck but iv noticed people literally running around the map knifing everone, and from like 10ft before they get to the person!! its so ****ing annoying (and if it was even remotely realistic theyd get their ass handed to them almost every time)

Also occasionallly noticed guys using an assault rifle that kills in 2-3 shots?!

I would love to know how accurate someone would actually be firing two of these simultaneously in real-life... impossible no doubt.

If you could lift them properly one handed, they would most likely break the joints in your arm (for example the scene in terminator 2 with arnie firing the rifle one handed on the motor cycle, took him months of additional body building for so he was strong enough to lift, fire & load another bullet in the chamber, and that wasn't even with real rounds)

Regarding people who use, marathon, lightweight & commando, if you've a bad connection and they have a quick one, they become almost invincible as you cant hit them while there running, and when they knife you they seem to teleport from 10 feet away, grrr.


Still, when my connection is on an even footing, i take great sadistic pleasure in hunting akimbo shotgun twats and comando's, then they moan after the match that YOUR the one whos cheated in some way because there connection advantage is no longer there for them, deal with it childeren, im just better

Ok, you have read my moans before, so I won't repeat them. My conclusion is this game is not MW2 but actually it is indeed a whole new FPS Multiplayer game. MW1 is, for me, a different game to MW2. Comparisons are almost redundant as the games differ in so many ways.

If you enjoy MW2 then kudos to you as that is your choice. MW1 is my preferred online fix

MW2 over-rated , under-stated, give me old school COD3 on headquarters on chateau , fighting over flags for maybe an hour, with no stupid perks or missles, harriers etc, and saying nothing of the lag, but the kidz love it and will tell you its GOTY.

Well, after 4 days away from this filth I come back only to find guys running around at lightning speed again (I dont run that fast with those perks on), & 1 guy (judging by his kill cam) switched from single Ranger shotgun, to rifle, then to 1887 akimbo shotguns before killing me from around 30 ft with them. Yes, thats right he switched from 1 shotgun to another shotgun, therefore he somehow had TWO secondary weapons.

What a load of old ****e!!

new patch is live now for ps3 and includes rebalanced 1887's and the prestige hack fix...........xbox and pc version aparently being patched at a later date.

You could do something with game saves on the PS3 to get to Level 10 without playing it.

This game online really is a pile of ****e.

Oh and 4 kill care package give them Pavelow...........

And, MW1 is brilliant compared to this, where did IW lose the plot.

I totally agree Jim, I played MW1 search and destroy for 2 years racking up 40 days over 2 accounts and mw2 is ****e. I have stopped playing it now. 5 and a half days into it and just got fed up with the campers with heartbeat sensors, akimbo weapons, lightning fast stabbers, care packages, chopper gunner.....the list of complaints are endless.

The heartbeat sensor makes prestiging a total chore. I lose the plot watching killcam to find said chav following a beeping sensor screen to then wait at a door for me to walk through to my fate..and worst of all you can't combat it till lvl 29!!

If only they had a beta, boo infinity ward!!

Personally, I'm starting to really get into this. I'm still hopping periodically through modes with Free-For-All being the current choice and I haven't come across anything I haven't been able to find a way around even at lower levels. Though still not seen a nuke

Last night I saw a new glitch, someone who was able to effectively spawn air drops sending 3-4 containers their way in waves at will. Let em drop it, pick em off and collect their airdrops

There are definately some balancing issues still outstanding in the game but I'd say anyone with a decent skill level should find ways of turning these and the glitches to their favour.

I'm beginning to get the hang of some of the craftier tactics now, such as air dropping/hiding, then taking people out when they come raiding for the 'drop..

Still hate campers though. I like to creep up as stay behind them for as long as possible before knifing them.. Give 'em a good killcam.

Upto about level 47 at the moment. Loves it - and haven't really had any games with hackers.

I've been using that tactic as well, but tend to plant claymores around as well (with scavenger for two) to lure them in.

Also a really funny one a mate managed to pull off yesterday was waiting till counter-UAV was up and then dropping his care package crate into the area where these idiots were camped out in Favela (on top one roof)... without them realising it came down from the sky and squished two of them as it bounced off the roof onto the floor... by far the funniest killcam I've seen in ages, slow-mo FTW!

Meant to say... I am loving it too but it needs more variety of playlists. People clearly want to weed out some more pure gametypes and I think what this really needs is diversity.

There is nothing to stop IW setting up no perk, no killstreak type matches which I think would be a great playlist option.
