God damn it. I CANNOT get enough of this game on multiplayer. I'm certainly getting my backside handed to me - and occaisionally it seems that I can empty an entire clip into someone before they die..

However... For the brief moments when I get on a killing spree and own the game - it's just glorious.

*oh* and I have played a bit more single player... meh.

Havent touched this for a few days now, but my bro was telling me that someone must've hacked it last night because he joined 2 different lobbies & in the games he played everyone had unlimited ammo, so everyone was going around blasting each other with grenade launchers!!

One of the (many) things they're working to fix in a major patch update. In the past few days 402 has been answering the barrage of twitter questions he's been receiving and last night they create this Status Update forum for official information.

It's taken them a good month to actually respond but thankfully it seems IW realises they've stolen the "most broken multiplayer" award from Gears of War 2 and are now on the case.

A bit late to balance the 1887s really, so for months I have been getting shot by these (although I started stealing them from anyone I can now) I am about to get them and they have patched them to be no longer as effective.

I think this pretty much sums up the experience for me, all the glitchers and nutters who are on it all day and night playing it until its pretty much worthless me playing because they have ruined the balance of the game.

Played this for the first time online yesterday, i don't know the maps, have no perks, don't know what guns to use and everyone in my game was rank 65 ish (do they not balance the games in anyway?).

Got to admit i enjoyed it a lot, i'm sure they were rubbing there hands at a noob in the game, got around 12 kills in most games i played with around a few more deaths, not sure how that is but i was very happy.

Now to learn some maps and what guns and perks to use as i've never played COD online before, these perks are all new to me.

To change the 1887s now is silly, you can easily combat them with long range weapons, riot sheilds etc. It they wanted to change guns they should have done it right at the start, not now months in.

The problem with the shotguns is they kill you from too far away without even aiming directly at you.

Which shotgun is the problem?

I've got a shotgun as my second weapon (not sure which one), but it only kills people in close quarters.

I was playing some Free For All last night and absolutely loving it. I think I came in the top 3 a couple of times which is quite an achievement for me.

I have to agree, while they are powerful you can still combat against them. In fact in one match I shot dead one and claymored the other two of them that where spawn camping. Then I stole their guns

Have to say this is the only reason to play now, to annoy jerks like this.

1887 being the worst as it seems you can kill from around 100m without even trying to be accurate.

Yeh they're both unlocked way up the ranking ladder, the 1887 I think arent unlocked until 67?

I actually dont mind them too much now except when people run with them on the smaller levels like scrapyard. Then given the need for next to no accuracy with them they can always react quicker than you can (with lag on top it's very annoying).

In terms of damage I think they are spot on but range/accuracy should be lessened. I would love to know how accurate someone would actually be firing two of these simultaneously in real-life... impossible no doubt.

I now have the rangers akimbo and last stand so it was payback tonight. Funnily enough my friend and I won almost every match.
