My main annoyance with this is getting dumped into matches on the losing side seconds before the times up.

This has happened to me a lot.

I disagree... if you prestige you lose everything aside from map knowledge and I found in COD4 running with the M16 I ripped through the early ranks with ease on my second play through.

Funny I felt the same. After I prestiged & started from scratch I was suddenly sh1t hot with even having extra perks or sights. It really felt too good to be true.
Do you reckon that although you're told you start from scratch again maybe you get rewarded secretly everytime you prestige with some kind of faster aiming or something?

This is my main complaint at the moment, I got matched into 5 games in a row where the other team only needed 2 or 3 kills to win the match. Drove me nuts!!

Agreed...always end up on the side thats being mullered when i'm dumped in mid game...would'nt be so bad if I was actually able to potentially help my team!

For those of you playing alone who are finding yourself getting paired in serious imbalance, as someone in here mentioned earlier...

Mercenary Team Deathmatch.

That's completely saved the game for me.

I always got completely owned but playing it mercenary is absolutely brilliant and i'm finding things MUCH more balanced.

I have never hated a game as much as I hated this tonight:

Constantly juddery movements, resulting in my kills being about 2 & deaths being about 16 (so much for trying to get my kill/death ratio up).

Constantly targeted by missiles. I died 5 times in a row after respawning. Felt like giving up at that point & I really wish I had.

Some guy running around like he's on speed with double shotguns blasting everyone. No one had a chance against this guy who's almost on his 2nd prestige. He walked away with 35 kills 7 deaths. It looked pretty dodgy tbh.

I'm laying off this until its fixed. I had to stop myself putting my fist through a wall tonight, so not a good sign.

You must have been in my game, I am pretty sure they where lag switching because every time you saw one they where doing the old teleport and not smooth at all. One second from the end all the pings where fluctuating for our team at least. The game ended and everyone then suddenly had full green!

Needless to say I quite and said to my mate I would help him with his Special Ops. What a bunch of crapola.

Agree with this. Merc matches having always been storming for me.

Although I'm having some awesome domination games too (in CoD) - I'm not good at this sort of thing, but am often coming 2nd in team in terms of score and often on the winning team.

Now that I'm learning the maps and which corners to expect people around, it's vastly improved. Seems I'm going the opposite way to everyone else. I'm enjoying it more and more as I go on. To start with I found the MP quite frustrating (much like I did in CoD4)

Was helping a mate learn the ropes on this last night, it was quite funny bringing a lvl 1 geezer into a game filled with lvl 40/50/60 guys. Lag was attrocious though, and we got kicked a number of times.

The other annoying thing is that I seem to get completely kicked off live by playing this game.. Does my head in!!!!!!!!111

Sounds like the ranger guns with marathon and light, so he doesn't need to stop running and can go faster. The gun seems a bit overpowered, but you have to aim them properly. Semtex him from afar. That'll learn em.

Yeah I saw the marathon perk in the kill cam. Its just total overload. I'll try the semtex idea
