Caught two guys going for the nuke yesterday when one was at 24-0! They must have been GUTTED!!

In other news, I finished a game 24-0 the other day, not cheating, I was gutted when the game ended as I put the nuke on for that game only just for a laugh and I so nearly got it.

i had one of those mystical games last night - where every goes right. it was on rundown, one of the maps i really dont like.
things went amazing though, and at one point had 2 airbourne killstreaks on the go. i got 30-2 in the end.
after i played that, it was business as usual, where i scrape even on K/D

Apologies if this has been mentioned already but does anyone feel that Marathon combined with Lightweight and Commando with dual shottys kinda breaks the MP a bit ? It's awesomely overpowered IMO (Started using it today and it just beasts any and all).......

Yeah I'd prefer it if they nerfed the speed of that combination a bit but at the same time those players choosing that setup have given up firepower over speed. The only thing I think makes that setup worse is tactical knife.

If I see anyone going like roadrunner in heat I usually back away fast and fire directly at their noggin. It's still a toss up between netcode and accuracy who drops first but I give them the benefit of the doubt. I usually run with sleight of hand and stopping power so it's rare that someone gets me that way unless I am in a tight corner and see them late.

The only thing I think should really be nerfed is the super-frictionless speed people run at with all those perks and holding a care package cannister (add another 15-20% speed on top). Then melee / tactical knife becomes even more deadly.

IW should really make holding a care package cannister not change your speed at all from standard.

Keeping with the current topic. I also had my best killstreak last night so something must have been in the water. I finally played with a green connection all night and felt like I was invincible. For this round at least, I practically was... I went 30-3 on afghan after getting a multi-kill predator missile on camping ass opponents, a harrier and AC130 later and I was just mopping up.

It still surprises me that these folk dont take out the air-craft... :S

I have the Stinger as my secondary weapon for all guns. Top tip, if a Pavelow and Harrier are going at the same time, take out the harrier when it is close to the Pavelow and you get both of them for one rocket.

Almost at 250 helicopter kills now with my stinger.

I have won many a game because I have stopped the harriers etc.

And as for the runners, I love to twat them.

Something people don't think about alot when I'm playing is to use your airsupport against the enemies. For instance, if they have air support out and I have a predator or chopper gunner, I'll shoot it down with that. Same goes for them having a chopper gunner, never put air support out if they have one as they can just shoot it down instantly.

Took me a while to realise that but it comes in very handy. I often find myself shouting at guys in my team "Gonna bloody shoot those harriers down with your chopper gunner!!!!" and he replies "ohh cool didn't know you could do that!"

Ive got the same set up, though ive swapped chopper gunner now for AC130 since ive done the chopper gunner challenge and got the badge. Absolutly deadly combination this set up.

I kind of knew it but didn't bother as they are quite small and hard to spot and its not a massive advantage in my eyes.

I only found that out after about 30 hours of play time my mate just happened to say once about shooting their UAV down and I laughed and said that would be so cool. Then he actually showed me them in the air! Funny how you miss something so obvious for ages.

Yeah I tried that out pretty early on in the game. Didnt know it was possible at the time but I had that 'what if' thought in my head, & of course was pleasantly surprised!!
