I'm late to the party, as usual, but I am loving this game. Got it today for a cracking cheap price of $9.99, and it is worth a lot more than that. Just outstanding. The controls take some getting used to, as I keep wanting to use Halo-like controls. But, once you get your head out of an old mode and into a new one, it really really works. I've only played through the first two missions and the first trial mission, but I can't wait to play more.

Honestly, though I to purchased it last week and i'm really impressed good straigtforward, pick up and play blasting, I love the way she wiggles when she's waiting for a command prompt! I also think its a stylish game and the music ain't bad either!!

I love this game so much STILL but I've got disgusting luck!

I accidently erased my Cube data so yesterday I started PN03 again, forgot how unbelievbly RUFF this game is! Got all the way through to the end of stage 7 with the Prima Fusion, Destroyer rank all the way too - the plan was to max out an Ultra Guardian as soon as it was available instead of going through the other suits first. Proper caning through the stages and totally in the zone I didnt bother saving between stages as I was doing well, proper got the enemy behaviour locked down it's so heavy charging through the stages avoiding the laser fire as if it's some kind of joke. My flat has one of those stupid key meters for electricity and it cut out on the boss of stage 7! X_X Cos I still had the Prima Fusion there was no autofire and my arm was proper killing me and I STILL dont have any data!

Starting again tonight! When stuff like that happens on a game as good as PN03 it's minor! I get to see the bosses EXPLODE again!!! The way Sonnenblume seems to scream as it dies is so damn heavy!

The more I play this, the more I love it. I've talked to a lot of people about it, and almost all of them who have played it said, "Naw, man, the controls suck!" To them I say, "Learn how to play, asshole." The controls don't suck at all. Once you get into the groove of it, the controls are like butter.

yeah, i got this when it was ?10 delivered, started to play it on normal but got killed to quickly(i'm crap) so started again on easy and now it's bloody ace i've sorted the controls out now they are great controls imo. when i've done it on easy i'm going staight back to normal monde(can you keep your suits etc when changeing from easy to normal)
great game well worth ?10 even if it was strange when i first go it. so of the moves she does are amazing.

mt50 - you can carry over your suits from Easy into Normal mode, and all the upgrades of course.

I'm nearly at the end of Normal mode (having previously finished Easy and got the Blackbird suit) - just completed the 5th trial mission before the 10th proper mission last night. Damn it's getting tricky! But I do love this game and I'm determined to unlock the Papillon...
