Aliens vs Predator demo (PS3, 360, PC)

Only played the PS3 one, and I can say with confidence it's quite the ugliest matchmaking screen I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot of it. Truly oppressive and filled with foreboding, just like the source material. Brilliant!Can't comment on the game itself, unless this is the game.

What a horrible demo. I played it for about five minutes and might try it again at some point. There's atmosphere, then there's too dark. The graphics aren't particularly great and the animations are just about acceptable. I really hope the final build is much better than this and the pre-amble about it being an old build is true because the demo looks like a 3+ year old game.

I'm not really after this game for multiplayer, just campaign and Survivor, so would have preferred a single player demo with a small portion to try each species.

Finally got it working. Just a demo I know, but pretty poor. Not so smooth, dated looking graphics simple looking environment. Looks like a PS2 game.

I downloaded the pc demo to find out its an MPD. I got to the title screen and turned it off. I can say that i'm not a MP person.

To be fair, they made the original game. Which is still bloody good.

However like you say they recent track record is atrocious. Rogue Warrior & Shellshock 2.

Completely different team which have been closed down since then. The team that made this made AvP1, Rogue Trooper and Sniper Elite - all decent games.

As for the demo I love it, they've done a good job in balancing all 3 and it's really fun to play. They should have included a team species deathmatch mode as that would have been more fun but I'm really looking forward to the full game based of the demo. Hopefully the full thing's a lot more polished than the demo though!

Don't know why but I get stuck unable to move as soon a match starts on the PC version. I'm unable to play it at all.

Managed to get a game going, one on one, so I picked the marine this time. Good god the pulse rifle sounds utterly fantastic

Im really enjoying the MP demo, was playing with 4 or 5 friends and its a pure laugh, plus when you play as the human its scary with the sensor bleeping all the time and the Aliens doing that hiss sound ( with triangle ) freaks you well out, as others said the balance seems great and everyone can get kills, loving the Predator, Aliens is way harder as i get very confused but they are so fast, Looking forward to the game.
