Had a couple of games last night but the new maps didn't come up. Had a really weird game of Conquest where entire enemy team didn't even try and leave their base O_o

Yeh I was dissapointed not to get to play the new map on Rush last night. Will maybe check it out later on my own.

I did purposely search it out when I got home and had one game on it, to be honest I am not impressed with it yet. Maybe it will grow on me, then need to get some classic maps going like Oasis and Wake Island

Do people realise you can select the map you want to play under the selected game-type. My first Rush game was on Laguna Presa after selecting it this way. I like Nelson Bay, so quite often start my Rush sessions on this one.

Choose Rush, then move down to map and choose a specific map to start on. You can do this for all game-types.

Yeh but when playing as a party of about 8 people its hard enough as it is to get a game going with all of you in it and on the same team. So we just stick the random map option on to get some variety. If you choose a single one wouldn't it just keep playing it over and over or quit? So then we'd have to get the party all set up again.

Which obviously leads us on to, when on earth are they gonna fix the party system so we can play with more than 4 people at once on your friends list.

Never, its not been fixed since BF:BC 1 or in 1943. I can't see them fixing it now. The best we can do is party chat and join game that has a similar effect.

The PC has it best for squad management, one dedicated join a friend option then even if your in the wrong squad you can pull up a tab and select a squad to join. You can even switch teams a radical concept. This has a limit though to stop you from swapping team/squad constantly.

Personally I found some of the bases too close together and this made it easy for the defending Recons to set up a camp spot on our base once we moved up a bit.

Getting a bit sick of Atacama Desert, easily the worst of an (otherwise very good) bunch my opinion, hoping they cut it down on the playlists soon.

No way, I love that map! I'm not as fond of the snow ones at times but generally I think they are all good and usually don't mind playing any of them.

I would like more maps available though as there is only 5-6 maps for Rush I think which isn't alot really. Is there any knowledge of future new map packs at all?
