Played couple of hours earlier for first time again in a week or so on PS3. Zero lag as usual with merkins and m8 had just bought it so he wanted us to try squad wars mode and I really dont like DM modes as its camp city and I like to run around for objectives and shoot on the fly I get bored sat still hehe.

Only two of us for couple of matches against squads of 4 and even him level 1 we still got best squad all day long. When we had a full squad they where toast couldnt get near us. I even kept wiping tanks out and it was taking 3hits with guided job at back. They never stood a chance. I had a harder time finding ammo as hardly died.

If Matrix was here, he'd laugh too!

Despite still team up with Laggy McLag in my squad every time I play this I did manage one of your so called "BF" moments last night.

I'd unlocked the 12x scope for the recon class and as everyone in my team decided they werent going to bother defending sh1t all I hung back behind one m-com station and c4'd to outposts around its perimeter just in case.

With that I spot a helo coming in from their spawn to drop people on the island. Not only did I manage to kill the pilot with my first shot but as it started to spin out of control I also capped one of the gunners with two other guys parachuting out to safety and landing on the island shore... unfortunately right next to where I'd c4'd so I gave them a couple of seconds to get in close and blew them both up.

NTSC-UK Punching children in the face since 2001!
This game has reminded me just how fun forum community gaming can be, hasn't felt this good since Halo 2 if i'm honest.

What a quality NTSC-uk game last night! The C4 incident goes down in history. Nice work Boris.

The last game (Which resulted in me being very late to bed!) was just awesome. Proper hold your ground stuff, had a good run on the heavy machine gun by one base, spotting and killing, and some fun Tank action with Dots earlier on. Saw a sneaky tango trying to C4 Spatial/Dots too, so used the Hummer to run him down....

Definately my favorite map, so huge too! As always it's a great credit to these boards that we can play a game like this any time we want, essentially in a "LAN Party" with great and very diverse people, all wanting to enjoy their games to the fullest.

Such a shame there is no cinema mode, because Boris antics with C4 "Presents" would make good Youtube material!

That was hilarity, even when I was shouting frustratedly at capcom and spatial to disarm the bomb, they were having too much fun cruising around in the tanks.

Family fry driving into the base and leaving them that 'faulty' quadbike was funny too, I think I got 3 kills for that.

Awesome games last night guys! Best fun I've had on Live for years I think. Everyone helping out and discussing what's going on.

Spent alot of time a passenger on the machine gun in a tank with Boris driving which was a deadly combination, we got loads of kills between us.

Will try to get on again tonight so fire us an invite if you see me on. I added most of you on Live again, dunno why you had all disappeared from my list.


So overall I am loving this game. The team aspect just makes it 100 times better too.

I was only playing Assault and Recon before until one day last week my pal told me to try Engineer which I'd never even looked it as I thought it would be boring but no way it's just awesome fun. Destroying vehicles with rocket launchers and repairing tanks is a blast. And then of course getting The Dentist achievement with thanks to Fry I think it was who revived me twice when I kept dying trying to drill the guy in the head!

All in all, best game I've played possibly ever. Overtaken COD that's for sure! :-)

Those games last night were flipping amazing - even the ones with our extended shaky start where that level 30 ninja seemed to be decimating us no matter what we did. We were far too disorganised on times to counter properly and our groups reluctance to fall into the Recon crowd meant getting sniped on the island map was pretty frustrating.

That said, buzzing them in the copter and taking them out more than made up for it.

Although the lack of co-ordination on times did allow for some amazing improvisation and those comedy C4 moments. Laying the trap and then seeing the list of dead peoples names going up the screen was hilarious.

That last game was truly epic though. I remember looking at the time and it was about 10.10 when we started - by the time we finished I expected it to be something like 45 minutes later. I was amazed to find it was half eleven!

The way the match swung back and forth right up to the very last minute was amaze. Everything from not letting them even get into the first compound by taking out that tank with all of them in, to that pitched battle on the train track, and even stealing their tanks and doing laps of the buildings trying to hunt them down.

It was really something when me and tbm stormed up the hill in their hummer and took them out, only for the guffawing to be cut short when a tank rolled over the brow of the hill. I performed the quickest u-turn of my life and sped back down the road under fire, hopped in the waiting tank and then pummelled the shat out of them as they rolled in. Not only did we take them out, but we nailed the guy who bailed out with the machine gun only for Capcom to add the final insult by also driving over him with the hummer just as he died.

Great times and thanks to everyone for another quality night of entertainment

I love how I got bummed in the gob, slapped down and made to concentrate again at the beginning of that final map. Well worth the reminder to get your head in the game and not get too cocky.

The combo of Cappers running the hummer into the hapless guy on the other side, while Boris blew the utter crap out of them was quality Fry reviving me as I drew too many tangos on point A (got three but missed the fourth) and Rossco cracking me up:

"What was that?"

"You were shot by a guy on the other side"



Spags was all kinds of awesome last night, reactions of a friggin` Panther at times. I need to work on my Medic class, but maybe not in the heat of NTSC-uk battles...

Personally, the mistaken headshot with the drill made me laugh like a drain. How the blaaady hell did I do that? Making it to level ten with you guys was a pleasure
