I love being Medic and I've got a bang stick that shoots real pretty.

I'll save class building for more solo/small squad evenings I think!

Very much so Spags, we all rely on each other, know our strengths and expect support, aggression, spotting et al. from certain folks. As Cappers says, maybe class building will be something when we`re not involved in epic battles. There again, its all we seem to do nowadays, not that you`ll find me complaining one bit.

I tried to go Recon at one point and spent about 5 minutes failing to kill a sniper up in the lighthouse when I knew I should have been hunkered down upstairs in the base with my full metal jacket and the boys around me to hide behind! Love it when you realise that the wall behind you has been destroyed and you may as well have a giant target painted on your arse - thats when your squad become the wall!XD

Some questions, for the BFBC2 knowledgeable:

1. What does + 10 for 'squad advance order' refer to?
2. Is it possible to check your own health level, apart from red fade at edge of screen?
3. Parachutes: when and how do they deploy? Sometimes when I bale out of exploding heli I drift gently and safely down; at others, especially - when I've had enough of some muppet pilot larking around - I bale out and plummet to my doom.

Loving this, by the way. Great to work with a squad you know. Real sense of shared responsibility. And makes piloting a heli full of 'em extremely stressful.

Parachutes, they deploy when you press "A" (360) to deploy them! You can use them even if you are just jumping from a height that will harm you!

You can't check your own health level, but you could ask a squad member!

1. I believe it is something to do with pressing select whilst looking at something. IN rush mode if you look at A or B and press select your guy will shout ATTACK/DEFEND POINT ALPHA/BRAVO and if your squad successfully defend or attack said point within a certain amount of time following that order you get bonus points.

As I've never seen squad advance order I'd guess that you have been playing conquest and have pressed select on a flag?

2. No you can't check your own health, medics can see your health bar and should try to heal you

3. Press Jump as you are falling (maybe a few times to be safe)

Great, thanks guys. I guess I must've gotten 1. coz I was spamming the select button; indeed it did happen in conquest on panama canal. Sounds a useful thing to do on purpose from here on in.

Yea. I dont buy multiformat games for 360 as have a list of peeps I can play with on PS3 all night long Ad when I feel like it and I dont dip anymore as dont buy that much stuff just cant afford it as its a waste.

TBH hardly use my 360 anymore only 1p exlcusives. Its been used more to listen to music when I get up for 20mins each day since xmas.

Regarding this...
Select is your friend on this. I have my left thumb on it all the time spamming it as you can spot things in foilage you cant even see. Everytime you spot and someone else kills you get points. If you spot a flag and squad attacks/defends then you get more points.

Dont forget you can also bring buildings down just keep smacking the crap out of it with explosives over and over! if their held up in their go for it!

Sorry Ad you known for along time though m8 that I ditched 360 MP gaming its all PS3 for me has been for well over a year

Just had nearly 4hours with randoms for nearly half of it. Amount of specops now on randoms is daft. M8 and myself got highest score but lost time we where on it as rest of team was full of them. Once it settled down and other classes played was much better. Snipers are a waste of time with more than 1 in a squad as their no good at attack cas they dont do that pml!

Rest of time i went solo or unwashed squad. I dont get the unwashed though if your assault drop your bleeding ammo you can sit next to me as engineer while I drop mines and you will get points all afternoon long.......dont run away when I click on you and ask for them!

Still got top of table though and about 600points off maxxing first class at level 7. I think I was the only engineer playing as well! So nice not to hear kids screaming sheer bliss!

ive just spent an hour searching for rush games on isla no-wotsit, getting on the defence side then slowly sneaking to the enemy spawn point, waiting patiently for my mate to shoot down the chopper then lacing the respawn with c4. hiding, waiting for it to fill up and take off then blowing it up over the water also get a bonus kill on the uav pilot then the odd kill from the now alert attackers looking for me hehe.

was disappointed to find you get a 2nd gold star before a platinum tho...want to trade my sniper rifle and m60 in for new guns but cant yet...

I dont know what was going on last night but every Rush or Conquest game I got into had a total of 3-4 players and the servers were never filling up. I spent a good 25 minutes hopping in and out of matches and they were all like this?

In the end I was fortunate enough to have a mate playing Squad DM and I joined him instead but it was really weird and obviously makes those gametypes a complete waste of time.

In a squad with 3 random sniper/campers last night, who clearly didn't understand the concept of 'conquest'. Decimated my already modest stats as I had to play like a one-man-band; might as well have stuck a broom up my arse so I could sweep up the place as I went. Then one of the campers thought it would be a good idea to make a dash for a helicopter and crash it on my head a second or two after take-off. Thankfully the NTSC cavalry turned up a bit later, although by then we were ****ed beyond redemption.
