Last night, dear God...Lumbered with two sniper campers on squad rush, who sat atop the grounded ship! What the hell are these people thinking! The only enjoyment they could have gotten out of it was watching me through their scopes running around like a headless chicken, while MisterBubbles and his pals robbed me off my dogtags at will. Tried to knife my own squad a few times but they didn't get the message.

I tend to knife the guys who sit on the UAV all day, they are worse than snipers IMO.

Not me , i didnt get you Golgo , i just shot you LOL , i dont like when that happens i joined a game thinking i was joining my mates on squad rush was on other team , my mates then shot and knifed me to death, guess all fair in love and war , i did knife my mate 3 times, Golgo when you came over to our team we kicked a$$ , just shows what and organised team can do.

Just got the dentist achievement.

Guy in a building, shooting out of the window...me, an inexperienced mechanic, only just got the drill...sneaking up, MISSED him, he runs away...why? I've no idea, so I give chase, firing the drill up, he doesn't shoot me....no idea why, drill him, he runs again...still not firing at me, drill him again...death, +50 kill +10 headshot +achievement unlocked.

I could smell the faeces in his shorts, I could see the panic in his eyes.

Wow, must have played this for about 17-18 hours now and have just played Laguna Presa for the first time! Absolutely slaughtered and had no idea where to look out for enemies.

You really can't play this with randoms can you.

I must have got 300 points just putting tracer darts on tanks alone, for absolutely NOBODY to do anything about it.

Speaking of tracer darts, when I've stuck one on something my rockets don't seem to actually home in...any advice there people? Only just started on engineer so it's all a bit new.

Dont think the very first one had dart support cant remember. Ive never tried as noone had one when I started and now I use the guided rockets (they wont work with tracers as you lead the target).

Engineers abit of a rare class with unwashed.

It says it has support for the tracer dart though! Only the 3rd of the 4 rocket lauchers says it doesn't have dart support, I think that one is guided anyway or something.

Playing as an engineer is fun but also funny as you end up chasing dickheads in tanks that are taking fire...rather than retaliating whilst being fixed, they just zoom off to death.

I had a strange issue just now, got a flag half way up and a tank turned up. Luckily he didn't know where I was so I flanked him and a different tank spawned! I got in the tank and didn't even need to move it so I unleashed the barrage of shots onto him, twice! Then he turned and did me in two shots, despite me having hit him with about 8 (the tank that fires 4 before needing to cool down).

Fair enough I thought, maybe he's in a stronger tank. Kill-cam time...opponent "100%" health. What the ****? I hammered him. Maybe lag I guess?

You have to aim at the target until the distance pops up and then you're good to go. Only the first 2 launchers support the dart. Taking out a helicopter after attaching the dart is one of the most satisfying things you can do in the game imo.

Thanks, I had a feeling it was something like that.

So basically you have to achieve a "lock on".

That said, I find the starting laucher incredibly weak against tanks anyway.

All 3 launchers take a few hits to blow up tanks, even with the improved explosive damage perk. They can take out a helicopter in one hit though, also the second launcher appears to have the quickest rockets of the three and the biggest blast radius as well.

As the Engineer you can 'stealth' kill enemy vehicles using the repair tool.
