Nothing to do with first play, but I've just realised this mnemonic BFBC2 posted on Eurogamer refer to Battlefield Bad Company 2.
Robert Bowling has told Eurogamer that he and Infinity Ward have a lot of professional respect for Battlefield: Bad Com…
But as battlefield is a single word, describing a field in which there are battles should the game not be abbreviated to BBC2?

Good laugh as usual on the games tonight guys cheers!
My favourite moment had to be when I took out a tank attacking our base with the UAV and the points for it kept racking up for ages; "Ohh i just shot a tank and got 200 points for it, no 240 points! Now 300 points! 340 points, no 420 points, no 500 points! 550 points, now its 640 points!!!!!!!!!!" It kept going and going.
I might be wrong but I think we won every proper game we had tonight, excluding the first one as half of the game was spent leaving and rejoining the server to get all on the same team.
Anyway, enjoying this more and more every time I play it. Engineer is such a good class with so much variety. Do alot of sneaking about and shooting people in the back and then next minute it's chaos with tanks getting blown up and all sorts.
Then Recon is getting more and more satisfying the longer you play it. When I started I was rubbish at it, like couldn't kill anyone at all, but now I'm a headshot machine!Got some awesome kills today where the person is running full speed across you so you have to aim to the side and a foot above them. Then when you see them drop after one shot it's just bliss.
I could talk about this game all day, it's just so enjoyable.

There are always 'Battlefield moments' when playing this game, makes it an absolute blast to play. Taking on a tank at close range, managing to just survive before placing a RPG into it, destroying the vehicle and then discovering there was a full squad in it must be one of the most satisfying feelings in gaming.
I currently have a few qualms with the playlist and the shuffling of the maps. One thing I don't like is that Conquest maps are played twice in a row and you switch sides. I think there are a few maps where the three flags/capture points are placed in a triangle, and so it just feels like playing the same thing twice without any difference. When I play, I choose Rush or Conquest and I sometimes wish that it would be happy to switch players from one Conquest game to a Rush game and vice-versa to give some variety to the maps.
EDIT: Saw this link on another website, this is an amazing resource for BC2 stats.

Brilliant games as always.
I think a "Party mode" would be great. Max 12 people and the ability to put people into squads.
It's daft that we have mess around so much to get on the same side...
Maybe DICE devs only have a maximum of 3 friends each over in SWE?
One to fix in DLC!
Looking forward to more games!

Was anyone else finding the servers where a bit laggy last night again though? So many times I emptied my 'sniper shotgun' into people directly in front of me and they would be low level with maybe the Scar L and kill me in one burst.
Hoping that they would have maybe got some serious damage you look at the kill cam and they had 100% health!! WTF
Sorry about the C4 incident, trying to trick the attacking team backfired when they had the same idea and bombed the ****e out of the laced building
Got some nice defence kills later and we did win

Haha that was classic Felix using our own C4 against us to blow the building up!
I didn't have any lag last night though, worked prefect I think.
I really do want a better lobby system as capcom says, pain in the ass getting more than four people playing together.
That site is full of info and stats Btang, nice one.
Something from the site that I only found out last night after complaining spotting wasn't working properly since I had just been hammering the button constantly:
Spotting, like the repair tool, uses "overheat" to prevent excessive Socialize use.
The player is capable of about four Socialize button presses in rapid succession before overheating and being inoperable for five seconds.
With the cooldown, the fastest continuous rate that a player can spot without overheating is once every two seconds.

My highlight of the evening still has to be when I snuck up on that house and the guy on the other team was bobbing up and down in the window trying to make sure I couldn't get a bead on him.
He was so fixated on me that it must have come as a real surprise when Roscco exploded the side wall and killed him. Plus it also looked pretty spectacular from where I was standing

Quality games last night, as always the right mix of having a laugh and pounding the opposing team into the ground. I`m not that competitive a person, but something about Bad Company 2 online makes me detest losing. Points mean nothing to me in those situations, I want us all to win, and win in style.
The final game as we pushed relentlessly, down to 6 tickets was tense but Spatial picked his way through the fallen to arm the M-COM and we all spawned on him, giving the other team no chance at all.
With regards to lag, the old adage about having as little a load on your connection as possible when playing something like this is appropriate. If you`ve got folks surfing, watching YouTube, etc. you`ll find it all goes to the wall a bit. When you think of all the data flying around, its surprising we don`t encounter more issues than we do.

Yeah. I had no lag at all last night, but this is one of the games that even when I'm not hosting & just playing I still have gone pulling the Cat5e over the lounge floor instead of POE.
There is a huge amount going on for 24 players, so I'm glad it works as well as it does!
Still needs a party lobby system though.

Oh my god, such a laugh there playing Rush. Defended the first two points for the whole game and never let them get one then when we attacked the game was over within ten minutes! So easy.
Getting quite into this sniping now. Had a sterling game there and got a marksman headshot of 120 points, am I right in saying that the higher the score for that the further the distance the enemy is away? Whats the highest anyones got?

You know I would have been there if I could have, when you read the stories (been part of them) It makes you miss it more.
New maps in few days, will be a laugh to run around them with you guys as always.
Also glad I could help with 'The Dentist' Rossco, was fun spotting UAV guy and saying "Anyone want the dentist achievement?"awesome game that was too.
