kept getting +10 pts last nite for 'squad advance order'. anyone know what this refers to?

I think this means you attacked/defended an objective which somebody in your squad has marked for attack/defend. (By spotting it with the BACK/SELECT button)

The spot/back button is proper lol as its seems to be used for loads of stuff while I just use it to spot with - for example, if I'm hammering it to show up all those orange triangles my character will be shouting out all sorts of ****..."I need ammo, give me a lift, lets attack from this position, a shoootahhhh, etc"

I've maxed out vehicles and engineer now, and just unlocked the red dot for medic. Struggling with medic, seem to die lots.

If you're playing the Russians you have that big red hat, I always go for the medics first

Thing that works for me with Medic is to forget all the normal "Burst" shooting and really let rip with your SAW/60. Litterally chew up any place the tangos are coming from. This way you have a chance of a kill, but you surpress the enemy and your sniper/engineer/assualter can get them for the team.

In close contacts at a base the SAW can be deadly, as long as you aren't shy with the trigger finger.

So that's my way to play Medic. Stick to your engineers and heal them religiously when there is heavy armour to be taken out, and let RIP with the machine gun.

Played a game earlier, no friends to play so went rogue/random.

My word, won't be doing that again in a hurry. Snipers and Spawn-campers everywhere, even though we "squaded up" they were all just idiots, not a single on of them seemed to understand rush mode.

This is the problem I had all the time. I tend to play alone or with my brother when I play online games. And that is the problem with this game, it is so team orientated that if your team isn't pulling their weight, then you just end up getting destroyed and it left me thinking that I'm no good at the game, when really I'm an ok player and no what I should be doing to support my team, even though I fly solo most of the time.

Because of these factors, I ended up going back to MW2 and that game suits my play style much better. Also, that leaves the 'proper' BC2 players with one less crappy MW2 player I guess.

I play in a regular 4 man squad, one person from here, one mate off-forum and another ex-NTSC user.

I see Spatial on it from time to time but he's always partied up with others from here.

Random play is ok for Conquest but very frustrating on Rush where it's much harder to have an impact as an individual. The amount of attacking rounds I've had on Rush where players are hanging back defending >_<

Yeah rush is no good on your own, really need a squad. Conquest is ok on your own or a random squad
