Didn't notice is as much in 10, but in this, my first rainy game and the ball skims the surface like crazy!

Well as much as love the gameplay it is proving miles to easy so far. The lack of multiplayer online options is also shocking, just 1v1 games.

Yeah i found it too easy as well, I have only played as England on world class though so I can try it on Legendary with a weaker team. I am trying to do the Scenario with Argentina losing 5-1 to Bolivia. Closest I've got so far is 5-4. Bah.

I am using Japan on World Class and have hardly conceded a goal.

Yeah, it is quite easy on world class against the 1-4 star teams. Only the top teams (Brazil, Spain, Italy, France and so on) seem to give you a proper match.

Gameplay wise, I am absolutely loving it. It is basically FIFA 10 tweaked/refined but, hey, I'll take that for now. I said this after I played the demo and I will say it again, it just plays a nice smooth/fluid game of football. Graphically it is much improved too, especially in terms of player likenesses.

Love it, nice starter before we get the main course (FIFA 11) later on in the year.

Yeah they are immense. I am gutted they didn't do all the likenesses for all the qualified teams.

I'm winning 4-0...half time, they quit.

Next match, can't get the ball, every tackle ends up back in their possession.

No way I'm venturing online with this except for friends matches or else I'll end up hating it.

That was my problem yesterday. Totally unrealistic scores. The action was end to end like a basketball came a bit too much. Saying that though, I've just had 3 matches of my first FIFA World Cup online and the last match I played was Japan V Belarus, twas a cracking match. Previous games had both opponents quit due to being muller'd.

The Online World Cup is nice. I like the way it's presented, the menus etc.

The players on the pitch seem to be positioned tighter on the pitch than in FIFA10 and that's pretty realistic. Although, it's causing quite a bit of scrappiness with the ball bouncing off players and putting an opponent through in jammy style. Also, the ref seems to be getting in on the action too, with the ball hitting him nearly every match.

I'm enjoying it. When it goes well for me it's ace, but some of the lucky second ball business has been winding me up on occasion.

It does have a very hit and miss feel. Some scrappy games and some magic moment. Just like real football!
Picking up the shooting again. Both Nakamura's are dangerous from range. Still haven't used another team.

It really doesn't feel like PES. I played my usual PES sesh against my mates last night and it took me a couple of games to get into it again. Dribbling in PES is pretty rigid due to the animations and 16 directions. Has a retro feel to it. I like that though.

Anyway, let's not compare them.

Meh. I got to the quarter final stage of the Online World Cup mode and was having a good match against a dude playing as France. He was 1-0 up but only 10 minutes had elapsed so I still had a chance, loads of time left. Supreme lag starts and I get disconnected from Xbox Live/EA servers which means it counts as a loss for me. I was still connected to the internet around the house and there were no problems with the router. Not happy at all.

EDIT - WTF?! Same thing just happened again. This time I didn't get signed out of Xbox Live, just the EA servers. I was winning 2-0 and now because of that the game just "awarded" me with a 3-0 defeat. EA need to sort of the servers. Boo.

SECOND EDIT - Yup, same thing happened again. Just gonna be playing this offline until they fix these awful online issues.
