Second FE (super famicom remake) game on the DS and the first with an encyclopedia you can look through to check who/what/where the characters are talking about. Thanks to the dual-screened nature of the DS.
You start off by choosing the difficulty level (normal, hard, maniac and lunatic), mode ("casual" where fallen characters survive to the next battle, and "classic", where people stay dead), and making your "my unit" - a personalised character you use throughout the game.
The look and sound of the game is practically identical to the first DS one (which admittedly I haven't played much of -yet-).
Right now I'm still scratching the surface, but there are downloadable quests/events/items, and an online shop with a selection of items that changes every Sunday.
It's Fire Emblem. Kind of sums it up.
