Just finished the first "boss" fight with the big dudes. Great game in single player so far. A bit easy but its kept me playing for the last hour or so

I know you get points back but i hated castlevania that much ill take the 400 rebate, for buying three, oh i bought 4, and on the 1200 pts price point when a games 2gb i think its fair when games for 800 pts used to be limited to 50 meg

He sauid that he knows he would get the points back for buying all 5 of the summer of arcade titles (1200 point rebate)

but he hated castlevania so much that he would rather not buy it and instead only get the 400point rebate that MS were offering for buying 3 or 4 of the titles.

He also thinks that 1200 points is reasonable considering you used to have to pay 800points for a title with a 50mb cap.

Came to this knowing nothing about it at all and I'm really surprised, good fun game with some nice puzzles and shooty bits, really good fun, I'm impressed and whacked my 1200pts down.

Yeah me too, was a bit dissapointed in the lack of no online co-op but thankfully the single player experience has not been compromised at all. A very fun game and the only one of Summer of Arcade for me. The challenge rooms are an absolute joy to solve and running back into a level with different relics equipped to complete certain challenges is a rewarding and satisfying thing.

This game definitely kicks off that arcade vibe, if Lara was headed to arcades this is the perfect game to drop 50p's into over and over.

Too far away imho, game will be dead by then.

I'm so close to buying it, it really is absolutely excellent, but I have a concern that co-op really is the way to play it and by then, nobody will be bothered.

Surely there'll be enough people waiting for the co-op so that it will be playable?

If not, then it's a self fulfilling prophecy really isn't it? "I want online co-op so I won't buy it yet, and if no-one has bought it when online co-op comes out, then there won't be anyone to play it with, so I won't buy it then either"

Seriously though, it's a fantastic single player game, worth it JUST for that, and at least you know you have the option of local in the mean time while you wait.

That's already a known fact. several sites have reported as much.

It's a known fact that the patch is hitting the same day, even though we don't have a date for either?

Anyway, either the co-op mode is already done and they are holding it back for same day PSN launch or they put the game out early to be a part of the MS Summer of Arcade thing. Either way...meh.

I'm definitely buying it, but I think this situation stinks a bit.
