Ps3 version has no visual shortcomings, didn't notice any form of slowdown either.

Gears of War is downright archaic and wooden compared to this, thats for sure!

I did fail the QTE though, don't you just have to rotate the stick?

Did anybody see in the options you can have the japanese voice work set to on , and still kept english messages, plus theres and SDTV option too, or even go all japanese menus and voice , that will keep Joe Musashi happy.

That is a cool option. Looking at the lip synch it seems the English version was done first an then the Japanese redub. Not that it makes any difference.

            This. Game. Rocks. Hard!!!!

After playing that demo I don't know if I will be able to resist Day 1 without it.
Was gonna wait for the inevitable 2 weeks later ?17.99 Sega/Zavvi reduction, save me some pennies.

Just played through and i thought it was excellent, really fast paced thanks to the boost button and everything felt great from how the guns worked to the cover system.

Being an otaku nerd i had it in Japanese straight off and can't really imagine it with US voices, only problem was there was no subs for the little videos that come up in the corner during game play or during the tutorial but its not that big a deal.

Visually it looks superb, no slow down issues or anything.

So yeah will be picking it up for sure!

Hadn't really been paying any attention to this game as I'm not really a 3rd person shooter fan but bloody this is good!!

Wouldn't be surprised if I bought this at launch which I really wasn't expecting to do. It's Platinum games have taken what's already available in 3rd person shooters, improved it and made their own.

Really can't wait for this now.

How is this anything like P.N.03 (aside from the fact they both wear a white suit)?

                          Loved it.

It does kind of bombard you with confusing mechanics dressed in even more confusing videogamey lingo.

But yeah, immense. That boss transformation made me happy in my pants.

It is very confusing from the outset but after a few attempts it does really start to gel together. Turbo boosting past the soldiers that come out of the dropship while mowing them down and then taking over the walker robot to finish the rest of them off is an adrenaline rush. Slow-mo in games has been done to death, the only thing you can do is refine it. Which is exactly what this game seems to have done.

                            Day 1 for sure!

Same guys as Bayonetta - so I guess this will be a day 1 for me.
