The cinematics and facial details are nowhere close to Heavenly Sword, thats for sure.

I like it, although the platform gameplay feels very automated. The demo did however stop when the game is supposed to begin, we haven't experienced the co-operative gameplay between Trip and Monkey. I hope NT knows what they're doing.

I think I need to try the 360 demo. I liked the PS3 one but the controls felt really... floaty... on times.

Wondering playing on a 360 pad will have any impact on that.

Didn't think too much of it. Seemed like another hand-holding platform game where you aim the stick in a direction and continue to tap A. The same could be said about the combat, except you would be tapping X or Y instead. I also felt that Monkey was too imprecise when running around. He sort of had to run in a little circle to turn around. Don't think it will be a problem though, as the game seemed super linear so there is no chance of you going the wrong way by mistake.

What I did like however was the vibrant enviroments and spectacular set pieces (the plane hitting the statue of liberty). But this isn't nearly enough to make me buy a game where the gameplay consists of running forward while tapping a couple of facebuttons.

Didn't like this at all. The platforming was too simple and automatic and the combat was similarly simplistic and uninteresting. Graphically it looks quite poor and the framerate was shoddy. Considering these are the guys doing DMC5 I'm getting more worried about that game. There different games but compared to DMC4 in terms of graphics at least this seemed miles behind and DMC4 (as with all DMC games) was a solid 60fps as well.

The trailer at the end of the demo did show promise though so maybe it does improve a great deal further in. If so then they really should have based the demo on a better section of the game.

Just had a go on this and i really like it. Loved the ship falling apart all around me while trying to escape, and the combat while simple seems nice.

Jumping is a bit easy like others have said, but cant see where its any worse than in the Uncharted games, which are two of my fave PS3 games to date. Ill be giving this a go along with Castlevania next Friday.

I had a ripping time with this demo. Looks like good, lighthearted, throwaway stuff. Loved the art style and the quirkiness of things. Voice acting ok as well. Everything was busy and dynamic, and the general set piece was funny and engaging.

The platforming is rather 'on rails' and equates to button presses, but that's ok with me. I like Prince of Persia, which was similar. I've spent years lining up perfect jumps. I've earnt my easy ride!

The game has laid down its rules, controls and gameplay early doors. Accept it and engage with it, or get out of the room bitch.

Although not as impressed as some of you guys on here i'm still picking it up on launch day. My main gripes i had with it is that i felt there was a general lag with the combat and controls aswell as the general performance in the demo. The 360 version seemed to run alot better, but hopefully they have improved it somewhat on the retail disc.

I loved what I played (360 version) and the video that plays after completing the demo looks even better. I feel the gameplay has a great sense of impetus about it and feels very dynamic. Beautiful animation and character design too and, when the camera zooms in mid-fight, the facial expressions on your character are fantastic and convey great effort and emotion. Voice acting was also excellent and had me warming to the protagonist in no time.

Can't wait for the full release.

This seems to be doing quite well with the review scores with mostly 8s from the likes of EDGE and IGN.

Had mine pre-ordered since the demo (I loved it) so hopefully these reviews will encourage a few more people to give it a go.

I quite enjoyed the demo on X360, felt a bit like a magpie game nicking good bits from other things but gave off a well put together, 7/10, wait for the inevitable price drop vibe.

The controls are very laggy in the demo and IGN's review confirms that hasn't been fixed in the full game. Overall it sounded pretty disappointing.

I'm definately going to get this. After a couple of goes I got used to the controls of it and I get the vibe it's going to resonate with me more than Lords of Shadow will.
