On my second playthrough as the first I got a terrible ending where it seems

everyone died (got the C ending)

, going to try kill a few more psychos this time and progress with the story. yeah right, they still kick my ass at level 30 lols.

Beat this again last night, getting to level 50 and getting a few other achievements along the way:

- Father of the year
- Getting all psycho combo cards
- Taming Snowflake
- Killing 1000 zombies with the chainsaw bike
- Killing 1000 zombies with the smash move

Still 5 people short for the 50 survivors achievement, though I have an idea of how to get them on my next playthrough now I know where more of the unannounced ones appear.

Started gambling on the big machine in Slot Ranch Casino with the

and I must have made near a $1,000,000 in 15-20 minutes. Will set aside some serious time to grind some money to buy the vehicles and the

. Also cleaned Jack out on Ante Up, netting the

, so nearly there now!

Still can't get the Stick it to 'em achievement, where it seems the last part always knocks them down and breaks everything else I've slapped on to the zombie. Any advice for this one? Watched a few vids of this one being done but always seems broken when I try to do it.

off Terror Is Reality. Really liked that multiplayer, and never had to wait more than about thirty seconds to get a game. Co-operative, though, Christ. I waited like five minutes at one point and it still couldn't find anyone hosting.

EDIT: Oh, and Red Dead Redemption has spoiled me - Jesus, the poker in this game is so, so boring in comparison. I tried it, but just couldn't take sitting through the whole thing. Maybe some other time.

The water pistol apparently does wonders for that fight, following it up with your best combo weapons (spiked bat, lightsabre, Wolverine gloves etc).

played abit more last night its fun still not that far into it, lol combo weapons are fun the bucket drill and the lightsabre are a sale for me all i'm doing right now is running having fun

Managed to raise enough cash to buy the Hummer and

. Just need to buy the car inside Royal Flush Plaza and the Chopper inside the Yucatan Casino to get the $6,000,000 achievement.

The Arthur armour is quite interesting when you have all 4 pieces since it gives you double your health, though the armour breaks away once you've taken too many hits. You're then left in your pants just like in Ghouls and Ghosts, with whatever your maximum health bar is.

Enjoying this more now I'm working through achievements, though still not a patch on the first game.

Includes ranking and the amount of people you've saved

Stayed at my pals house just to see I I could finish it and got the S rank and saved 38

Did you make an attempt at saving 8 at once? Trying to work out the best route to do this with and reckon I'll use the rockers and the nerds as the basis for this.

Managed to get 3 more achievements last night: killing 1000 zombies barehanded, spending $6,000,000, and killing 5000 zombies.

Used a combination of a 2 punch followed by a haymaker, and the occassional elbow drop for crowds. Took maybe 90 minutes to net. Also unlocked the tattered clothes costume, which I thought would just be your regular biker jacket etc but torn up. Was pleasantly surprised to see that it's the

outfit that Simon Pegg wears in Shawn of the Dead

Getting the $6,000,000 spent achievement is actually easier than it seems, especially if you've been gambling since it all counts towards it. Didn't need to buy the chopper in Yucatan casino in the end, but nabbed it for completion's sake.

Started a new save to grab the genocider achievements. Grabbed the driving book, which makes vehicles last 3x as long. Also unlocked the giant hamster ball to maximise my killing sprees. Apparently to save time, the best tactic is to save regularly around the toilets between the big rocks in the park, and then simply reload the save to respawn the vehicles rather than going in and out of buildings.

I actually miss the stupid AI of the survivors as it seems alot easier to rescue people, a survivor will generally only get caught on a rare occasion - but I've been using the leadership book which might have made it easier.

The poker games are arse IMO and rather they weren't there, did win the million so I can buy at least one car but on this play through (mates xbox) I'm going for 50+ survivors and all psychos and so far so good me thinks

Not bothered about getting all the achievements since I don't think I can do the coop parts because I can't get online on my ps3 which annoys me a little that i wont be able to do all achievements

Even though I'm maxing this out on xbox I still have to do it all again on playstation

not even attempted eating everything or wearing all the clothes

About to go into day 3 on my second play through and at level 45

I gave it a nine overall and very happy with that score, dead rising is one of my favourite games and certainly one of the most time i spent on a xbox360 game, so even though the original is better its still a good game by capcom

That's seven people, meaning you'd have to wait for a call with a single person, which may not happen if there's also a psychopath hanging around (yes, they count as survivors).

The 8 people I went for started with the rescue mission "An Industrial Fashion" (two people), followed by "Rock Heroes" (three people) then I waited until the three women in Kathy's Space spanwed (no call for them so you'll have to check yourself) and as soon as they joined, it popped up.

Do all other rescues/fights before this, of course.
