My mate sets his controls to near as PES as he can and hasnt had any problems (PS3).

Im on 360 here. I dont know what's up with it then. I've reverted the controls back to normal and saved it, then gone and customised them again. Doesn't seem to make any difference. Grrr.

Been to and from this between Reach and MW2 still and I'm really liking it more and more.

I thinking playing it between playing the two FPS's is good for me, Fifa is the only game that brings the RAGE to me, in a bad way, in the past back in 08 I acidently punched a hole in my bedroom wall in a moment of rage It was a low point..

Playing Fifa 09 I ending up breaking my controller through throwing it in these moments of rage again, not good.. (These are all ranked matches online and the game not responding the what I'm trying to get it to do, no excuses though..)

Eitherway playing this years so far I'm finding it very responsive, there are moments when I know I've made the wrong play and know I've gifted them a scoring chance that they should put away and that doesn't frustrate me, also I don't mind the odd wonder goal flying in I just have to hold my hands up and say fair play for taking it on...

I've now won 19 of my last 20 matches online so I'm up to 1900 points, I support Middlesbrough though and like to play with them when I can, I've had some nice encounters with Leeds and some German 2nd Division team along with a few others which are fun, otherwise I use Chelsea against players who will only use 5 star teams, they seem to suit me well

I'm actually loving this now, after a few weeks of not being able to beat anyone who used Real Madrid I started to adjust the way I play and have had some epic games with only a goal or two in it.

Play a lot of 2v1/2v2 online with my housemate and we generally end up losing but I blame it on him not being that great.

Took a break from the online on this and decided to try and take the somewhat random choise of Rotherham United to the premier league.

Got promoted from league 2 the first season and noticed the players no longer develop on their own before the next season, they also dont seem to develop much during the season, anyone know what actualy makes players devlop in this? as I have a pretty young sqaud but they dont seem to want to get better.

Is it the same way as your pro player? if that is the case its pretty dumb.

The squad growth is reported to be improved in a patch that is coming mid november. Until then growth will be sporadic. You wont need to restart your career for the changes to take effect either according to EA.

Ahh, knowing EA they will probabaly mess that patch up and have them grow too quickly.

I think the way it is done now is relativley realistic (the best players in your team seem to go up by 2 or 3 points overall during a season, the ones who perform poorly dont improve much at all).

I was just wondering how it actualy works really, is it just based on the overall raitings they get in games?

I don't know myself. It does seem a little bit of a mess tbh. For instance Lorent Koscelny has gone up 4 points in nearly 2 seasons at centre back yet Jack Wilshire who has played 70% games this season and been an important player has gone down a point.

Do any of the PS3 clubs players get huge button lag that is crippling the 360 game?

No, but me and my club have a slightly crippled experience due to voice chat problems. Everytime, there's at least two or three of us left in a channel talking to themselves during the match. Communication is pretty vital and no other ps3 title suffers from such a bug. Needs sorting. However, whilst it occurred in fifa 10 a lot sparringly, it was never addressed.

Yeah I saw your post on the Fifa forum so that prompted me to post here.
I wonder why there are so many problems with lag on Xbox only. We have no problems at all with voice chat but then that is done via Live.
