I am really looking forward to the Bon Jovi songs. Yes they're 80's rock essentially but it seems everyone knows the songs and that makes for some quality group sessions.

Loving mostly easy, occasionally medium, pro-drums, for somebody with no musical experience they are by the easiest of the pro options, i got the new wireless drums with improved pedal and angled cymbals, nice bit of kit

Got my account linked and the chiev, tho the RB3 website still says i haven't

Just need to sort out the Lego export which is still bored to my knowledge.

I like the fact they've introduced orange button to easy/med guitar, forces me to use it as i peaked at medium before in older games, still sends me into a blind panic mid song when a solitary orange shows up in the charting

What i always love with RB games is rediscovering old gems or new stuff, Long Train Running by the Doobies & Tears For Fears are current faces

I finaly got the link to work. I had to unlink my account then link it again, but oddly still no achievment for doing it.

This game is a strange one to rate. If I had to rate the game itself it's a 7 or 8, as I really am not enjoying the majority of the tracklist, and there isn't really enough meat on it compared to Rock Band 2 (without spending another few hundered pounds). If I rate it WITH my downloaded content, then it's a 9 for sure.eem

They improved a lot in the game, but seeminly at the expense of an exciting tracklist.

Same here. Seems to be a bit of a mess. My stats on the site updated once yesterday, around noon, but no updates since then.

Chalk another one up for that achievement not working. I linked yesterday evening, so it's been around 24 hours. Funnily enough, my stats on the site still seem to have not recorded any new progress, even though I was connected to RB Central.

I wouldn't care if they hadn't made it six bloody points.

              Got it. Finally.

Ah well. There's another evening gone after the wife said "let's play Rock Band for half an hour"!

Serioulsy, you just get sucked in. It's like a vortex. I bloody love this game!!!

It seems that 'Well Connected' is now working for those who didn't have it. Should pop as soon as the game starts.

37,000+ hammer ons. Not much to go now.

God i love this game, the inclusion of oranges in even easy charting has got me using that button for the first time ever, i even completed a song on expert for the first time ever today (never managed even hard previously)

Love Blue Monday, did it on keys then bass and got a tasty 500 note bass cheev

Word of warning seen there is a save game bug that corrupts your save if you get artists in a set list with more than 35 character names, there's not many of them but you have to quit instantly before it autosaves or go thru a fairly convoluted process to continue and salvage your save. If you quit out after playing the song you can screw your save for ever.

Apparently the mess up only happens in road challenge setlists if you are given any of the following artists:

Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives (1 song in RB1 export, 1 song in RB1/2 DLC)
Timmy & the Lords of the Underworld (1 song in RB1 export)
The Presidents of the United States of America (1 song in RB2 export, 3 songs in RB1/2 DLC)
The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets (1 song in RB1/2 DLC)
Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Double Trouble (10 songs in RB1/2 DLC)

                      RBN:
Chaunce DeLeon and The Fountain of Choof
Steele & Holden feat. Darren Holden
Steele & Britton feat. Taryn Murphy
Paul Henry Smith & The Fauxharmonic Orchestra
Bang on a Can All-Stars / David Lang
Bang on a Can All-Stars / Evan Ziporyn
Bang on a Can All-Stars / Michael Gordon
                      Connor Christian and Southern Gothic
Bang on a Can All-Stars / Julia Wolfe

In other bug news, it seems the game freezes up in character creation if you choose the veteren face type and go to eyebrows.

Just had a weird glitch where three of the same custom character appeared on stage after setting all the band member slots. Didn't stop until I took them all off.

Odd that they chose to make the bass guitar track play the keyboard part. I had extended my guitar strap to full length, ready to play the Peter Hook bit, but no.

Not to mention that in the guitar you are playing some of Hooky's part. It's fun but they could have at least got the instruments right.

I did notice that what I was playing was a bit all over the place but still a cool song, even though it does suffer from my pet RB hate of a massive repeat outro that goes on for minutes, enough already, fade it out.

Aye, as you pointed out earlier they fairly do like their extended outros. It really irks me too, and it mostly seems to be on songs I dislike.

I finally got round to playing every on disc Rock Band 3 song on guitar, and have graded them all using the in game system. I have over 20 songs at one star and over 20 at 2 stars. That's about half the disc I'm not too keen on. I know it's a personal thing, but it got me thinking how they could have done it better.

My idea would be they make a batch of songs on release, and the disc only has the framework for the game, such as the menus, the graphics, etc. They could include a token with the game that lets you choose your own 85 tracks or so from both existing content and the new content they have made for release. At least that way you could tailor the tracklist more to your personal taste.
