I think you're getting confused with intermediate bud as a standard Imprezza would be running 276bhp.

I can prolly crack the Loeb challenges with a bit of practice (it's only crashing that is ending it for me), but those Rally stages are mighty difficult.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

New events are there. First one is with the VW Schwimmwagen! Wondered why the money was so good from it, but remembered the car costs 625K!! I will use my fully tuned one to at least speed things up a bit!! Total money for the five races is 3.5 million with about 350,000 Exp up for grabs. Haven't checked the car dealer yet. Probably be a Touring Car in there as the final race (2 million credits to cover the car I suppose) is 8 laps of Nurburgring GP short.

On that Rally Challenge I used the Delta for the Gravel and Snow Stages (with assists). For the Tarmac Stage I totally destroyed the opposition with my RM Elise 111R on Racing Softs.

One of my PSN Friends was in the market or a couple of Le Mans cars. I got the BMW V12 LMP and a Grey/Silver X2010 (his choice) to play with. It takes a while to get used to that X2010. I eventually managed a clean lap of the High Speed Ring in 37.096 seconds. I think with some more practice (and on Monza) the Vettel Challenge may go from being no chance whatsover to hopeful

Woot. I was just about to finish off the Karting, but sod it.

Lol, I've just spent 80-odd million on a fully upgraded Schwimmwagen for the first race, but it's now at 118bhp from 26bhp. Top speed of...106mph, but I could have stretched it further. Best car I've driven so far though. I don't even have to let go of the accelerator all the way around. Ha!

I went with the 98 million Cr M3 GTR for the final race. I wanted the Alfa 155, but it was 50 million more. I don't have enough for both an engine rebuild and a chassis overhaul, so I'm hoping tuning it to 677bhp will make it a winner.

Make sure you don't brake heavily in that VW. It has a tendency to spin out!

I used my A4 Touring Car on the last race.

At least PSN is back again so I can sort out the daily freebies on the other accounts!

Must do some more races in the last set of Bonus Races before next week!

I won the VW race easily, great car that .

I won the Touring Car race. Geared it for 236mph, and I was eating them up like noone's business.

I'll get all of these 5 races done today. I need to build up some cash. Not that I ever spend it outside of Seasonal Races anyway, but yer.

I've now set the brake split to 0 on the Schwimmwagen but have yet to try it out.

Touring Race was easy with the A4 as I had already upgraded it.

Other than the upgrades, the only purchase for the latest set was the TVR.

I am now about 10K short of Lv 33, I think. A few money runs at Rome to boost the coffers and I ought to level up! Had to deplete them before the races but just under 19 million currently.

Have an Account with a 1989 Ticket on it (anything for a free car!). First offering was an R32 Skyline GTS-T in a nice darkish Blue so sent that to my main account. Next day I got the Sauber Mercedes C9 (one of the reasons for going with 1989). Today it was a nice metallic Purple (!) 300 ZX Turbo 2 seater.

Is ASM defaulted to off or on when you start a new game?

I think all assists are probably on for a new game. Traction seems to be reset for every new car.

I've just found a way to waste money if you are going for the spend all your cash trophy. Basically, buy a carbon bonnet and fit it, then buy the colour-coded carbon bonnet but do not fit it. You will be charged for it, but it will not be in your available parts list. You can keep doing this until you have zero cash.

You will find the bonnet in your Items List. I have some Dirt Tyres in mine but can't remember what car they are from, which needs to be the one you are in to fit them!

I just bought used cars and engine upgrades (I think) to zeroise mine. Just had to buy a combination of cars to get an easily usable sum remaining.

Seems you are correct. Still you can still waste money by buying the same part repeatedly.

I should have done that trophy right at the beginning, but I'm sure when I buy that Chapparel I can get it then.

So I need to grind from very late level 28 upto 30 so I can do the x2010 challenges. I have done pretty much everything else I can, specials, all seasonals. Whats the best track for the greatest xp reward for shortest amount of time?

                          Comment

Indy is pronbably best for Xp... unfortunately. The Extreme American Championship race there gets 4.4K experience in about 4 minutes, for a short term session (arount 60K/hr). The Indy 500 Endurance on the other hand gets you 268K Xp in under 2.5 hours (>100K/hr easily) with a decent LMP or something faster. Strangely an X2010 is not going to make a huge difference to the time. I did it in 2:25 in the Minolta Toyota though some of the LMP's might be a little faster as is the FGT.

I need to try it in the X2010 though controlling the thing with a DS3 makes accurate control of the Karts look easy. It will take me a while to get sufficiently used to it to even consider another attempt at the Vettel Challange.

Best strategy for the Indy 500 (after my one attempt!) seems to be Racing Softs with a Pit Stop ever 25 laps. I think you can get away with 68 litres of fuel each time.

How did you get the x2010 without doing the challenge? Is there a way I don't know about?

Someone on my Friend List offered me a deal on an LMP car! A duplicated deal that is! He has Golded the Challenge though (I really need to find a way to get the Carbon one!).

You get a free X2010 when you get B spec to Lv 35.

Would you like one (free - duplicate)? It would need to be from that second account as there is a Pescarolo on my main account I am trying to avoid paying for (can't race again or it will drop off the end of the UCD) as there are a lot more LMP's and more normal cars to buy!!
