Def one of the more solid Unreal engine games, solid and 'buttery' to play. It gave me the impression the MP will be a short lived mess with score attacking being the big draw. It gave the impression I'd suspected that every idea had been used up by the 3rd enemy wave with the end trailer not allaying those fears. Fun but one for on the cheap... and this will drop fast

I dont get how peeps are getting such high scores on the leaderboard.

Anyone found any easter eggs/tricks yet?

I found the bottle of alcohol on the chair just after the bit where you dodge the power cables hanging from the ceiling. If you drink it, you get pissed. If you shoot the bottle you get 200 extra points.

Shooting an enemy in the nuts is funny too!

It was great fun when I played it last June and PCF have polished the hell out of this since then.

EA have a brilliant early 2011 with this & Dead Space 2!! Only hope the PS3 version of this isn't overshadowed too much by KZ3.

        Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant fun!!!

Surprised how much I enjoyed this. It's nice to play a FPS where it actually expects (and lets) you get up close and personal.

I think the epiphany moment came when one guy was stood in front of a big drop and I just wanted to boot him off it (as I have so many times in games but there's no option to do it). This time I could and had a dirty great big smile on my face.

Is the main campaign of this co-op? I hope so as it'll be a right giggle with a couple of people.

I think I read that the co-op mode is just a selection of the best campaign areas that were suitable for co-op

I enjoyed the demo of this but it seems a bit like Vanquish in how the score attack element is pointless and if anything actualy seems to undermined the level based nature of the campaign.

Course vanquish was still one of the best games of last year, so maybe its not that big a deal, but here you are hit over the head with how its all about scoring points when it dosnet actualy feel like its all about scoring points as it seems to have some kind of story too it.

Also, you have about 3 movies in the game, and the only way to score big seems to be to repeat the same 3 moves on every enemy you see before throwing them into a wall then shooting them in the balls.

Not that all that isnt fun, but it might get a bit repetative.

This epic games forum post will elp you out.

Q: When can we start pre-ordering the "Epic Edition" and "Limited Edition" of Bulletstorm?
                  A: NOW!

Q: Where can we pre-order the "Epic Edition" and "Limited Edition" of Bulletstorm?
A: Anywhere! All Bulletstorm pre-orders, no matter where you order(ed) from, will be the Epic Edition (Xbox 360) or Limited Edition (PC and PS3)! Retailers will provide these special editions while supplies last.

Q: My retailer doesn't have an "Epic Edition" only the Standard Edition.*
A: You'll automatically get the "Epic Edition" or "Limited Edition" when you pre-order the Standard Edition. Again, this is while supplies last. All pre-orders will get the free upgrade.

Q: Does the pre-order program only apply to GameStop and Amazon?
A: The Bulletstorm pre-order program applies to *all* pre-orders in the channel. It is not exclusive to GameStop and Amazon, although these retailers are certainly participants.

Q: What if I ordered my copy of Bulletstorm before the pre-order program was announced?
A:If you pre-ordered Bulletstorm, you will automatically be upgraded to Epic Edition for 360 and Limited Edition for PS3 and PC.

Q: Do I need to cancel my pre-order and order the game again to get the EE/LE?
A: There is no need to cancel your order. All existing pre-orders will get EE/LE. This program is worldwide.

Q: Why am I seeing different prices for the Standard and Epic Editions?
A: Both the Standard and Limited/Epic Editions are available at the same MSRP/RRP (Recommended Retail Price)

Cheapest place to pre-order is Zavvi with the 15% off code takes it down to ?32.17 details here...

They added the score attack mode because they expect people to play the Campaign like a regular FPS. I believe scoring is still in the campaign but it doesn't seem to be the focus.

If you repeat a move then you get less points for it. To get the big bucks you need to use as many different moves as possible.

i really enjoyed this too, will let my pre-order stand.

think it may get old quite quickly but will be a blast and very enjoyable while it lasts.

I prefer the heavier feeling games like this, stops me getting too motion sick.

How does this work in Multiplayer? I can't see the hook-shot thing being used fairly...

I quite liked it, but the controls were a bit Killzone 2y for me. couldn't find a sensitivity setting I was happy with on the 360. It's one of the rare games I think might handle better on a Dualshock. Wasn't entirely blown away by the graphics either, but then I've been playing Crysis on the PC recently, so perhaps my graphics goggles are out of alignment.

Felt a bit let down by this. Maybe I was expecting too much but when I started playing it felt a bit dull. Smart kill moves aside, the demo didn't feel well put together at all. It seemed a bit all style. I also didn't like the graphics at all. Why is it that everything that runs on the unreal engine looks super shiny?

                            Will try again later.

It plays very smooth though and is very clean looking. I get the feeling with Epic themselves behind it that the 360 version will be the better one and it'll have the larger online community as I expect the majority of PS3 buyers will skip this for Killzone 3 instead on Day 1. The art style and the made by a 14yr old teenager voicework/scripting is cringeworthy though.

Well thats the problem, there isnt really much variety in what you can do, unless I was doing somthing wrong.

It is like Mad World where there are a few unique bits to each level where you can kill enemies with whatever scenery is about at the time, but mostly youre just doing the same two or three moves over and over to kill enemies.

Becuase the score for your kills is constantly popping up all over the screen I feel a bit like it takes the focus off you just killing thye enemies and getting to the end of the level. Again comparing it with vanquish I actualy enjoyed that game more the second time through when I removed the score meter from the screen. It sounds like a minor thing but it really made sure that the scoring system was no longer in back of my mind, which was good as it was somewhat pointless really as much like this it felt like the score attack part of the game had just been slapped on it, and let me enjoy the game for the great experience it truley was.
