The lag in online mode is really starting to piss me off, I get so frustrated when I drop combos and I know it's not my fault. I know it's not my internet because SFIV and 3S run so much better online.

I love the game though, it's just so annoying that the netcode won't let me enjoy it online.

I might hit you up later this week when I order an arcade stick.

How do you play this? I can't even complete Arcade mode on Normal.

What platform are you playing in? (I bet it's 360..) If you're on PS3, add me and I'll jump on and show you how.

Block when Galactus attacks normally, when he goes to grab you super jump.

Abuse supers and x factor to damage him.

If you don't mean Galactus then er, stick it on easy mode?

Learn a few combos in Mission mode perhaps too?

I'm on 360, learnt some wolverine combos and some for ryu and chris. Playing with the SFIV pads and I don't think it is working out for me.

I have one of the 'better' new 360 standard pads so might give that a go. I just seem to get caned by the team in round 6 of arcade mode, they just air combo me to death...

Not really worth setting up a new thread for the Vita version as it's nigh on identical to the console Ultimate versions. Played through Arcade mode last night with a Ryu, Frank West and Ghost Rider team and it's one of the crispest looking games I've seen running on the handheld so far. The analogue stick is pretty useless for it but amazingly the dpad does a really good job of handling the commands whilst not causing thumb cramp. The character menu screen should have been redesigned as it's pretty tiny icons aren't ideal but overall it's yet another impressive MT Framework Mobile title and bodes very well for the eventual SFxT version

Yeah the d-pad is surprisingly good. My only Vita-related issue here is that I find the buttons on the right a bit too close to the analogue stick. I hadn't played MvC3 up to this point and it seems pretty good fun. The animation does disappoint me to be honest. The poses aren't all that strong and it kind of looks like computer interpolation is handling just about everything in between which means, while they're really smooth, animation just isn't as strong as it should be. Some of it (Wolverine) is just weird where they attempted to match the old 2D version and just didn't quite get it.

And some characters, like Thor, look a bit rubbish.

But, all that aside, I love that they have the character themes back in here. That was something I really missed in MvC2. The backgrounds look really good - although is there more animation in the bigger console versions? There is one BG which has loads of characters but none moving and I was wondering if it's supposed to be like that or not. Importantly, the basics of play seem simple enough to get the hang of and yet with still lots to learn and figure out. Honestly not sure how much time I'll spend with this but I reckon I'll enjoy it.

From what I've heard there's been some animation cuts in the backgrounds made to fit the Vita (though with more time I reckon it could have kept them). I had the original MvC3 and it didn't gel but the portable nature of the system and playtime fits the game better and I seem to be enjoying it a lot more now.

OMFG DO YOU GUYS KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND THIS GAME OFFLINE?!!!

I set out at 12pm, went to three local towns, Enfield Town, Wood Green and Walthamstow then Stratford City Westfield, The Stratford Mall, Camden, Oxford Street, Westfield London, GAME in Victoria Station and finally said **** it and went to CEX in Croydon and picked it up -_-

Which version were you after? The 360 one is pretty hard to come by, but Vita should be no problem.

The Vita one. EVERYWHERE is sold out of copies...

I saw some in gamestation today, but the cases had little stickers on that someone had wrote "download only" on. I asked the guy working there and he told me that you just get a card with a code on, that leads me to wonder why you would even bother when you can just get it from the vita store as it was the same price.

I also have to wonder why they actually had display boxes for the game when they had no physical copies and dont seem to be planning on selling any.
