So, couple of levels into this now after picking it up for 600points. Decent fun I spose.
For some reason I was expecting a slower, more Desert Strike-like game. So to find it is a super fast blast fest is a bit of a shame, Feel too rushed from point A-B-C to get a feel for the setting. Plus the expendables style general is getting right on my nerves.
But it controls well and after a few level ups your vehicle is a killing machine! Also, unusually, I am top of the friends leaderboard on the 2 levels I have finished
So on the whole, if you want a fast action game its well worth the money but for a more laid back game I would go elsewhere.Comment

finished it now....good game. last couple of levels got very hectic indeed! Dunno if I will bother trying it on hardcore tho as the last boss was a bitch

For some reason I thought this was more like an RTS, but I tried the demo and was corrected / drawn in just in time to catch the half price XBLA sale. I played through single player last night and had a lot of fun with it - was a decent length too, with enough variety to stay interesting. I thought the driving in particular was pretty impressive - given it's not the only thing the game's doing it works amazingly well. I could see a Micro Machines update working out well using this!Comment
