An explosion hit some canisters and debris only for it to fly into me from the shockwaves while I was watching from (safe) distance. Getting into a chopper and taking out ground troops with well aimed rockets is ace and lots of fun.
    PS3 ? 360?

      PC for me.

So, I'm mucking about in Damavand Peak (conquest) at the end of the tunnel nearest the base jump, so "base A". While looking at the tunnel, if you climb the rocks quite far round to the left of the entrance, you can make your way around back to the entrance and stand on top of it. There is a tiny bit that sticks out where you will actually get control of the base. So it's an ideal vantage point to spot people emerging from the tunnel and take them out while they try and capture the base.

However, as soon as they know where you are, they'll try and get you, so there's a tiny gap behind a wall which if you crawl, you can wriggle through and leave a spawn point beacon behind. This cannot be destroyed unless they are very lucky with a grenade. Win!

I think I annoyed them, because they were flying helicopters over to try and punish me. And suddenly everyone had rocket launchers

        The base was mine.

Very nice charles! I had an amazing run earlier on DOM where nobody could touch me for about 2 minutes and took out everyone I got in my sights.

Finally got my M5K the other day - joined a GM game with only 4 other people - everyone guaranteed! Love it.

Yeah that spot has been known for a while. You usually get 1-2 snipers up there so I always spot up there if I spawn at A or base deployment. Best way to take them out is RPGs.

I've not played for a month or so now. I was getting a bit bored by it as I'd been playing it so heavily. I'll prolly come back once AK is released. I didn't really get on with QC outside of gathering the new weapons.
              Kept you waiting, huh?

I was only playing GM until I got my M5K now I don't need to go near it again. Still do DOM to get easy kills to unlock new attachments.

I'm going through the assignments. Got 3 left to go and I am mixing it up between DOM in Close Quarters and normal Conquest depending on what I am aiming for.

Some of the new weapons are quite tasty. I'm really liking the new JNG-90 sniper rifle. It might actually beat out the M98B for my favourite in that class. Sounds meaty and just seems to be accurate for my style of play. In closer matches I've switched to using the SKS with foregrip and iron sights in recon class. Always satisfying.

I took a break from this for about 2 months and to be honest it's made me appreciate the game even more. Coming back to it has made it feel fresh again and the CQ maps do offer up a very different experience. They're good in DOM and TDM modes for a quick warm-up blast before heading out into the more standard fare of Conquest.

Armoured Kill should be great, if not for the fact this is still missing some good expansive map rotation.

Finally completed the Professional Russian assignment today and got my L85A2 which I have been totally loving. Only weapons left to unlock are the M34A1 and the MTAR.

Metro Conquest is by far my favourite mode. Finding new places to leave spawn points is fun.

Lol. Metro would be my least favourite.

Really like the larger maps like the majority of the B2K ones. Mixed in with some of the medium sized.

Grand Bazaar still top for the alleyway section, then Metro - love the overground section at the start for sniping.

Grand Bazaar is easily the best stage.

Caspain Border and Seine are favs, Sharqi Peninsula and Noshahr Canals my least enjoyable maps.

Yep I really like Grand Bazaar, Seine Crossing and Caspian Border.

Damavand Peak is good in both Rush and Conquest but some M-COMs are tough as nails in Rush (first ones). Same with Noshahr Canals, if you're on the US side and get pushed back to the carrier and shut out it's basically a yawn fest. You really need to get on land, drop recon spawn points and hold your position to stand a chance.

Metro is still my least favourite though. The fight for point B in Conquest basically gets old really fast unless you have two teams that know what they're doing. It can either be a tense fought battle or a complete white wash... usually the latter.
