Started this up last night after locating a new copy for a good price. After some fumbling I finally got into the game where one of the first things you have to do is set up your 4 strong team. Being a later FF player I chose went with an FFVII, VIII, X and XIII team (though I think I'll swap VII out for VI). Then you're into the main game, the tracks seem to be split up within a core single player which goes through all 13 main entries in order. There was a lengthy intro which flew over my head due to the language but I started my way with FFI. There seems to be 3-4 tracks per FF game (don't know if more unlock later) and play is along the same lines as the demo (for those who've tried it).
There's three levels of difficulty which follow the same basic control methods, tapping on red symbols as they reach your characters, stroking in the required direction for yellow symbols or tracing the green line. Sometimes silver symbols appear and if you hit them all in time it will trigger an event like a summons. You're effectively playing through the storylines of all 13 in very basic form along to some of the tracks from each game. The touch screen feels very responsive and it's easy to play. The little cartoon versions of all the characters are cute too but due to the design the 3D effect is minimal.
