I ended up getting this on WiiU and I'm impressed. There's a lot of content to the game and it plays surprisingly well on the WiiU tablet - the d-pad works reasonably well (the down the only thing that was irking me a little).

It looks good too and the mushroom mode is smile making. The online mode actually works fairly well too, so perhaps Nintendo online isn't doomed.

I'm not looking at it next to other versions, and it looks fine. It runs at a consistent frame rate and responds well to input. It would be very hard to complain about the WiiU version of this game unless you were being super picky.

I really like the graphics and control responsiveness.

I stayed away fron the other versions knowing that if I did get it it'd be on WiiU.

                ?25 was a bargain!!

Got for Christmas and really impressed - never played the first version or T4 as I never went PS2 but have played every other version.

Like the training mode but more importantly you can increase your offline rank past the poor 1st Dan of T6 which means I'll be spending a lot of time with it.

Only minor niggle is that a couple of Nina's moves have been changed and require d/f now to kick off instead of a simple b.

Does anyone know how to play the game without your profile being affected? I'm asking because my bro wants to play the arcade mode offline without his win / losses affecting my profile? Think I just want to turn off the profile, as it give a wrong impression of me when viewing the stats

Does he win every now and again?

(no I do not know the answer, take it you don't want to sign out completely?)

Erm ideally I'd like to stay logged in. But if all it takes is to sign off to make the thing not record all stats then I guess I'll do that! Thanks fuse.

Oh and no he keeps losing so all my wins are for nothing!

Spotted this on Amazon for ?20 PS3 and wanted it for a while its great fun good old Tekken. After owning the experiment that was Tekken 4 and plus the original Tekken Tag it feels good to get back into the familiar groove, still even remembering stuff from Tekken 3 movewise. Really love the opening movie and ending FMV stuff quite fun to watch. Graphics are nice and for me prefer them than the cel shaded Tekken Rev ones, music is great as always for Tekken. Messed around with combot mode which seems wacky and fun. Lots of modes in this. Agree with some in here though move list for Tekken 7 could do with a trim. The costume customization took a bit of getting used to having to obtain character items from gold plate people in ghost battle mode then work out you had to use a blank slot to customize a character. After playing a bit of Tekken revolution was good to try one of the later characters Asuka Kazama in this. The moves are slightly different to the Tekken Rev incarnation of her though. Just need to buy a PS3 Arcade stick now.

They're gonna stop the World Tekken Federation Servers at the first of september....
This is so stupid. Not even one year after the release of the game.
