OK been meaning to play this for AGES....finally got around to it as it was el cheapo on Origin. Played a few hours on both SP and multi.

SP first up, I really like it so far, in the same way I enjoyed the first one (miss poor old Rabbit though ). The story is a bit chop and change and is all over the place, I think I know what's going on but I'll wait until I get to the end.

Multi, there are still a few hard core eastern Europeans online. I've managed to do OK, considering I'm using a controller. I've had a couple of games where it was a noticeable disadvantage but overall it's not too bad. I though the last MOH online was a lot better though, this is just like Battlefield which is not a bad thing, however I thought the last one was different enough and had its own identity. But still I'm enjoying it.

Overall so far I think it's a solid game. A real pity we won't see another one.

Well now there's a funny thing!! I too decided to pick this up recently on the 360 as it was super cheap on ebay, & I fancied giving it a 2nd try despite my Southpaw gripes with the BETA.

I have to agree that the SP is actually really good. Feels very different story-wise compared to COD. Its more based on specific soldiers & their lives.

Online is pretty baron on the 360, but managed to get in a few games, & it actually felt great. Nice sized maps - not too big, nor too small like we seem to constantly get on COD.

In the end tho it was already competing against itself with the beefier BF wasn't it?

So finished SP campaign and put in about 6 hours multiplayer. I really got into the SP game by the end, I thought it was very well crafted with some cool levels. I never felt funnelled and thank goodness there was no infinite spawn points unlike a competing shooty game. You could take your time, use cover intelligently (though squad AI could be better) and plan your progress. Enemy AI was OK, I marked it down a little for basically ignoring my teammates and making a bee line for my character, but overall it wasn't very hard, I may see if there is a 'Tier 1'mode similar to the last one (I played on Hard).

As I said above the multiplayer was lots of fun, it had a good selection of modes and maps but it did feel like a cut down BF experience (not a bad thing as I love BF). A pity I didn't play this in its prime when there were a lot more servers and players.

Overall I really loved the game, again such a pity it wasn't received well by the mainstream. The opportunity was there to create something different in what is now very much a COD v BF, with both of those games at opposite ends of the spectrum. I agree with Eddie, above great comment, about it competing with their teammates at Dice.
