The woman behind the counter, I'm on the online island. A German girl is using the box, and I'm stuck on the chair waiting for the boat to depart. Nobody uses the box for twenty minutes. She's definitely up to something. I've caught almost twenty sharks too. No way am I turning it off.

Was this with the Island members club? I can imagine your woes, even with four of us on the Island it can be a bit tricky getting everyone on the seats or when one person out of three wants to go home (which was me last time!). If you wanted more people in order to boost the medal count if you switch your town ordinance to wealthy town you earn more medals on the island.

On the subject of ordinances, has anyone tried using the "Beautiful Town" ordinance? As per my earlier post it's taking quite a lot of time to water the plants and I'd like to know if anyone has signed this into law and seen how many of your flowers tend to get watered by the townsfolk?

WTF? When I go to my own island, there are now no trees on the beach. It appears impossible to bring fruit to the island to plant any more too.

You should be able to get fruit playing the games that you can plant while you're on the island.

Edit: my gates are open for a while in case anyone fancies popping over to donate axes or just a visit.

I've used this ordinance and to be fair they do dutifully walk around of an evening watering the flowers. They don't exaclty put their backs into it, though, and it seems they can't be bothered to weed.

Chopped down a tree to use stump as 'rustic' bench and found a particular type of beetle that I'm pretty sure I've never seen anywhere else loves to rest there. Keeps coming back. Worth a go if you're into completing your beetle collection.

Well as long as the flowers don't wilt and have a chance at spreading I'm happy with it. What i now sorely miss is having shops open before 9 so my morning commute has less to do, mainly because my locker is mostly full with gems and spare fossils so after one fishing trip my inventory is full. May have to have a rethink on this...

Had a good time last night with some from on here, if any of you have checked your 3DS mail you will see I won an underwear competition as judged by the Kappn!

My pre-noon turnip price right now is 211 bells. Not fantastic at all and doesn't compare with the 500+ prices earlier in the week but if anyone wants to take advantage of it, let me know here before 12 and I'll arrange opening my gate.
