I honestly have no idea who Danica Patrick is, and after looking her up on Wikipedia and reading her page, I still don't know. Maybe it's one for the Yanks.

I'm in the final group of World Tour mode now, though hit a brick wall because I need 120 credits to unlock the next gate, which means I have to actually pass some of the events in Hard mode. There also seems to be an Expert mode now, which must be horrifically difficult.

Time to play through Grand Prix mode to get better at the game. I'm loving the game, but it's a real challenge.

Just got off a 5 hour session on this and I have to say this is everything I hoped the original would be and more. It is simply an absolute gem of a title and aside from some pretty stiff difficulty I am hard pressed to find a fault with it.

I've gone through what seems like most of the world tour mode on class B and that didn't seem too hard but class A is tough man. You really need to know the levels and have the controls and weapons down. On that note I was worried about the weapons but they're actually brilliant.

Also hopped online but not too many people playing as its early morning. Was very pleased to see its 10 players online and full battle zone, battle race, drift race etc... ALL modes are on there. Something I was hugely disappointed in with the original which had single race only... Here it's got everything!! As such had a battle race and came second. Marvellous!!

The fact it cost $30 less here than normal RRP titles is the icing on the cake... and yes that burning rangers level is brilliant. They're all bloody brilliant. Personally I can't get that damn Billy Hatcher tune out of my head

I finally got the game today and I must say I'm loving it. Straight from the opening Sega logo you know you're in for some quality fan service and a great game. I must say that those bitching about frame rates really need to get a life. I'm playing the Asian 360 version and you can't even notice any frame rate issues unless you look for them (1 player or split screen 2 player) and even then it doesn't effect the game play at all. Man, we had it much worse in the 8bit and 16 bit days. Especially with the Super Famicom and it's chronic slowdown on pretty much all action games for a good year or longer.

This looks ****ing amazing. Like Sega have been resurrected for one title or something.

Looks just like a Sega version of Diddy Kong Racing, mixed with some elements and the presentation of F-Zero GX.

Too bad it's not on a huge, loud-as-****, motion oriented, arcade cab.. and in 60fps.

Someone please tell me the PS3 version doesn't suffer compared to the 360 one. I decided to buy PS3 in amazon's black friday offerings yesterday, simply because I've long since past the days where I will pay for gold while greedy M$ will stick up bandwidth sapping ads which have **** all to do with gaming!

I started playing this today on my new WiiU - I simply can't put it down! Had the game running in Off TV mode while I was watching the football too. Not to mention the great fan service. What a classy game and I absolutely HATE Mario Kart too! All the more reason I'm surprised I'm enjoying this as much as I am!!

Anyone had a problem with controls suddenly inversing left to right for about 1-2 seconds. It's happened a few times now randomly, and I don't think there is a power up that does it at least it's not in the instruction manual. It's happened on different carts in air and on track

DLC coming for this? I feel to many of the characters are the same, the stats don't matter but i don't need 2 NiGHTS look-a-likes, the amercian racer women, Ralf or what ever pudding is. I miss Ryo!

Framerate is fine mate, same as the PS3 version basically - and I think so? There was a patch waiting when I played it for the first time. It's certainly not 60fps or anything even close but it's fluid and fun. More importantly it's on par with the other versions.

The racer woman is from the Indy500 arcade I guess and pudding is Ulala's rival from Space Channel 5. I'm just a bit upset that while I have the Mega Drive mod symbol it shouts out GENESIS, yuck!
