I have t played the prime trilogy on the Wii. But Do they not let you choose to play with a proper pad? because they should.

Prime 3 was horrible to play and gave me arm ache.

I actually liked Other M, Course it's no Super Metroid or even Fusion but fun all the same... Just need to ignore the story really.

I just didn't like the Prime games, any of em... I think its the viewpoint personally - it changes the gameplay and flow too much and I just didn't care much for it...

Out of curiosity how has the Wii U sold? I'm assuming pretty well?

^^ average I think Sho, its discounted all over the place as I'm sure you have seen. ?225 ish online for a premium and I bought mine for ?199 for an 8gb in the Grainger Game sale (which is still on for it ) when the premium drops to what the original wii cost will probably decide its popularity then as its not quite at the sweet spot for price yet I think

I bought a new USB charging dock from Amazon last week. It turned up the other day and the USB cable fits straight into the Gamepad. Plugged it into my lappy and it charges it fine. Also powers it from USB. I heard this wasnt possible due to the Gamepad being higher voltage?? Typical internet BS no doubt. Glad I took a chance on it working. I always have my lappy on next to me and it saves me swapping plugs out to play the Wii U

The charger for the Gamepad is 4.75V @ 1.6A so USB charging was always going to work fine. It'll just take a lot longer to charge as the max current drawable from USB is 500mA (at least that's the official specification).

Ok I see. Well the dock and USB cable are on amazon for ?6.50 odd if anyone else interested. I am short on plug points near my tv so before I got the dock I had to unplug my laptop to play wii u. Now I keep that on and whack in the USB. Don't know why Nintendo didn't bundle a compatible USB cable or even offer an official one. It makes the console miles more usable

Todays inattentive kids could do with some shock therapy to increase their concentration. NintendoLand should be a nice remedy for Angry Birds.

My Pro controller charges fine from my laptop / gaming pc and XBMC machine .. The gamepad draws too many amps for USB which is why it will only work with actual chargers.
