Finished this 100% the other day. Loved it- my only annoyance was that it made me go through a lot of the origins levels again for all teensies and lums- as good as they are, I've done them before in the first game and didn't want to do them again!

Difficulty I found was easier than origins, which I also 100%, but generally I found it was at the sweet spot.

Removing the Mosquito levels was a good move, but the murfy levels were pants I found. The controls didn't suit as Murfy didn't keep up with your movements so messed with my flow.

Take it you played on the Wii U then? on PS4 simply press O to get Murfy to do the required action was so much better than looking down to the Wii U pad and back up again etc.

As somebody who missed out on Origins (and all previous Rayman games, in fact), I was really pleased with their inclusion and wanted more.

No, on PS3. I found Murfy couldn't keep up with me, and didn't move from object to object quick enough- and sometimes got caught between the two objects not knowing where to go.

Oh I see, yes you have to time your jump and Murfy button presses pretty much spot on, I think keeping moving is they way to do it, then he should always be a bit ahead of you, it's when you stop he can be playing catch up, know exactly what you mean when you need to lower a ring to jump to etc.
He has a trigger point which I guess is which item you're closest to.

Playing with Murfy in coop can be interesting and fun, and can lead to arguments and deaths as both players trigger him to do different things at different times.

Late to the party as ever but this game is ace. Playing it co-op on the Wii U with our lass has given us hours of fun. Up to 400 lums now and still , have tons to do. Some of the level design is bordering on genius. It is getting trickier now though.

I only bought this two weeks ago on the cheap for Argos. In desperation on getting some use out of the PS4.

Great game, loads of content, this is the best game available on the PS4 bar-none. Its FINISHED, polished, optimised, runs like a dream, no loading screens.

Such a pleasure to play something that is actually feels complete. Like the old days of gaming with the best of the Japanese coders making games like Ridge Racer, Tekken, Street Fighter, its not been pushed out the door incomplete and buggy, unlike just about anything on the PS4 right now.

                  Bravo.

Just played the castle rock demo on the wiiu version. Not often a game brings a smile to my face these days but I was grinning like a berk by the end. Are there many levels like this in the full game?

there is one at the end of each main painting and an entire area dedicated to them.

That equates to about 12 in total Brad.

I'd bought this for Xbox One when I got the console. As it is free on Live I thought I'd dowload it. It was already there installed from the disc, so a quick download!

Think it was around 2GB from scratch, grabbed it yesterday, played it a year ago on the PS4, great game, and nice and quick and easy to pick up and play. Does get tough towards the end though.

Just tried this for the first time on the XboxOne. Totally blown away. Great controls, amazing graphics, lots of fun.

It is brilliant. A beautiful platformer. It's what I imagined we'd get in the Saturn era before you all got caught up in your Ridge Racers and Toshindens and what have you.
