I've been using DS4 on my PS3. Played some ACRevelations, nearly everything seemed to work perfectly fine.

It seemed having it plugged in before booting up the console kept causing the video to not display but I think that could be because I'm sharing the HDMI with both consoles? The PS button doesn't work and also seems Ezio walked a hell of a lot slower then usual like the stick wasn't being fully pushed.

Spent most of my day in bed playing AC4 via remote play! Works perfectly, even remaps the buttons so you rarely need to use either touch screen or touch pad!

Really enjoying the game too!

Not really played much Killzone yet 'til I get Battlefield out the way.

One of my favourite features of the console is that you can play everything through headphones from the controller and change volume through the UI. It's like where has this feature been all these years?! It's good for late night gaming. The DS4 has plenty of features new and old.

So what's the average battery life on the DS4?

That and the light bar would annoy me no end. Even on XBO the lack of battery notification (aside from rumble stopping, something I found out through trial and error) and other basic options also annoys me, though it's overall battery life is stellar.

The console as a whole sounds great but the launch line up considering I've got the XBO as we'll now means I'll probably pick one of these up next year.

Seems to be about 6-7 hours on mine, not terribly good even on stand by watching Netflix. The Netflix app on PS4 is very good mind

Is there a benefit to having a us account ? Different games or something?

Sometimes different games and prices, different PS+ offerings too at times. Def getting 8-9 hrs from my DS4 charges

I have had one for years and use it a lot on PS3 for stuff that they early and demos etc. I have Hong Kong and Japan as well but only check them now and again as they don't seen to get as much stuff as the west, but have had the odd demo from them

3m charge and play cable from Argos for ?5, bloody useful with the battery not being super stellar

Playstation 4 review

Really love the Recent Activities that have now been turned on. You get to know every small feat your friends are doing I.e. My 50th assist on KZ. It's not even a trophy. Broadcasts and video uploads. You can Like too. Just UI in general is just slick. Brilliant stuff.

Still wondering why What's Bew is not showing anything in the UI maybe Sony turned this off like the redeem codes. Standby mode and using the App are great. Nice that the PS4 can charge in Stand by.
