Gonna guess no, so get this down your neckhole. I won't be using mic as all you'll hear are my children in the background.

So based on the beta what do you think they need to fix or improve upon for the final release? This is of course either the caveat that as the beta code is no doubt several weeks old already they might have already fixed it.
For me, on the Xbox Version:
If they can hit 900p and maintain 60fps throughout I'll be happy. I don't think the beta is that poor graphically but it couldn't hurt it to come I looking a little nicer. Same goes for the textures, the were 25% quality in the alpha and I haven't yet heard if it was the same in this beta? That said the XBO version was 4.88Gb and the PC 12Gb so I was wondering whether this was the case?
Other than that I'd like to see them just tidy up the odd network issues if they can. From Australia (particularly east coast) we have no servers and either have to connect to South East Asia or West Coast US... That gives us a lovely 150ms+ latency on top. I'd love it if re spawn can at least improve the odd hiccups here and there to make that high latency experience a bit more smooth, if not exactly brilliant.
That said even though it's not ideal currently playing with other players with a similar connection is pretty playable.

Not aware that the textures were gimped for the beta, the game could do with better ones for sure though. I also don't think it's a bad looking game but it isn't particularly exciting to look at.
I found every couple of games the framerate would crawl to a near-halt, not sure if it was network issues or local ones, but it was pretty bad. I suspect (hope) it is just optimisation issues as it seemed to occur at random times.
Other than that...I didn't find much else wrong with the beta, I had a lot of fun with it. I could do without the pats on the head every five minutes (the rate of unlocks and challenge completion is insane!) but I don't expect it to be changed for the final release.
My purchase lives and dies on the campaign to be honest. There was a game announced several years ago called The Crossing, which as far as I'm aware was the first attempt at a single\multiplayer crossover for an FPS. Sadly it never made release but the ideas were really exciting - Titanfall seems to pickup where that failed, so really interested how it works out.

Well i thoroughly enjoyed this on Xone!!
It just seemed to play flawlessly in my hands. Everything was so natural, even more natural than COD actually.
Loved the speed increase on the troops & their weapons, & the free running abilities.
Titans were ok. Controls are nice even tho the Titan felt a little clunky.
I'd love to see a troops only mode appear in the game modes at some point.
Maps were an ok size for troops but felt a little small when in a Titan.
Overall pretty nice tho. Would love to see what the 360 version is like

I'm buying it for the multiplayer, but hope the campaign elements are strong enough to be engaging.

like Pete i am also waiting this out and see what's in store for gamers that aren't that much into competitive MP and prefer a single player experience in the first place. i still wonder in what way the 360 version might be different from the XO and PC.

It's a lot less frantic than it looks. I wouldn't be able to rush around all the time if it wasn't for the Smart Pistol being so damn ridiculous. If I had to actually line up and aim, things wouldn't look half as impressive I don't think...
Thank you though.
On something I mentioned earlier regarding a focus on Grunts / Spectres for score, I want to link to the saved broadcast of the Twitch stream I did before as the second game I played was a flawless example of that in action. Around 110 attrition points, of which the starting 25 were entirely NPCs I believe... Which leads to my concerns with the Attrition game mode in general.
I think randomised NPC spawns and a slight nerfing to the Minion Detection skill would both come in handy here.
Game in question starts 3:07.Last edited by Silvergun X; 20-02-2014, 15:20.

Don't buy this game thinking there is some sort of COD campaign because I am fairly certain there isn't. This is basically a MP game.
