Agreed.
I was getting frustrated, but I could tell you were seeeeeething!

My favourite part was when we agreed you'd snipe whilst we fended off the ants/spiders. Whilst he lay unconscious he asked why you had such inappropriate weapons for dealing with spiders and I politely explained that we were supposed to be protecting him from them whilst he focussed on the dropships...
Innuendo aside, the Brute is a mighty chopper. On that beach mission with the Leggies coming out of the ocean, I did a double-take as I noticed in the distance a spider stomping down the hillside, far too big to be standard. One coastal missile sent it flying across the sand, stunned, which gave me time to get in the Brute's gun turret and finish it off. MAGICAL indeed!
I've sussed that the vehicle drops land in the direction that you threw the marker flare, thus throwing away from oncoming enemies means you have no form of defense and can mean the difference between taking off or not. For the Brute, throwing it side-on to the larger enemies means you don't even have to take off, just get in the turret and start shooting.
Just two missions to go on Normal difficulty!
