As for Child of Light I'm about 6 hours in and loving it. I'm playing on normal and it seems very easy?
The rhyming can be pretty bad at times, and without voices you don't really know how to approach a sentence, you never know if it will rhyme gracefully with the next, if it will be the only sentence spoken, if two characters will speak in rhymes or not, or the writers got fed up with rhyming and it will be a normal sentence.
My biggest gripe is that there's no cursor memory, and you have to select the same spell/action/enemy every time.
Well, it's not my biggest gripe, as the more I play, the less I'm interested in the game. Now at act 10, and it's dragging a lot. Combat is to blame, I'd say, as I can stroll around levels raining devastation upon enemies without caring about skill points or crafting/equipping new Oculi; if an enemy with an elemental weakness comes out, I just bring out the mage (no, I don't recall any of the names) and have him cast spells; the game gives you the opportunity to interrupt enemies while taking their actions, but later enemies and bosses all come with counter-interruptions, making that aspect of the battle system completely useless, to the point you don't want to interrupt enemies.
I'm trying to complete the game, but I can't play for more than a hour at a time, I get bored pretty quickly by it.
