How do the tournaments actually work? Are they just the equivalent of rooms you create with custom race rules? If so I'm guessing you can't rave if its just you online?

Pretty much, I think, and you can set them to open and close at specific times if you want, and it keeps track of the number of races you've done and your points. I just left that one open all the time so we might organise on here when to race...
