it's back up again (PS4) and I have to say it does look great to me. I played COD Ghosts and then this to compare and there is none, Destiny wins hands down.

As for the game I have had a few games online and without doubt the better weapon, set up guys have the advantage, level 8 guys won all the games I played (I am 6) they had better sniper etc. Not complaining, just wonder how how they matchmake the games in the final version.

I hope there is more story, but I guess only time will tell.

Really enjoying it overall and put some more time into it today.

I think for this, with your ghost prattling on about the world around you as you go, is enough detail to be fair, you still learn little bits about the cosmodrone and the fallen as your going in the beta, which i thought was a better way of doing it than stopping you at a terminal to read something.

Yeah that's true. It's good to be able to always get quickly into the shootering, which is where the game shines.

Got the PS3 beta. Very playable and overall it's impressive.

That was my worry, but as it looks this good I guess I can live it!

Reached level 4 and it's opening up. Whilst the missions have been rather disconnected, they are clear and concise and very easy to understand.
Also mission separation from side and story is very clear. It's easy to use.

The missions themselves have been pretty exciting. They are pretty much a series of firefights , to be expected from the Halo team that couldn't create a decent quality and varied FPS experience with all the money in the world. I've enjoyed the missions so far. You feel under pressure and the game offers no respawn points at clinical moments, a checkpoint basically.

Bungie have been coy about this - neither confirming nor denying - however they're offering some kind of 'reward' (that will appear in main game) to anyone who plays the beta this Saturday 26th.

The more I play the MP the less I like it. I was never a fan of Halo online and this is very similar. Still buying the game, but Single Player will probably be it for me.

Loved the social aspect of the single player and the way everyone was smoothly intergrated into your game. Death match was standard fare.

Had a blast with the multiplayer last night, although I've barely played Halo - except at a mate's - so that's maybe why it felt fresh. Don't get the complaints that it is imbalanced towards the hunter class - particularly their 'golden gun' supercharge power - as the other classes also have devastating supers that only charge up a couple of times a match. The titan class 'donkey kong ground pound' is farking epic, especially when you plummet down from a double floaty jump and splat a few guys trying to capture a control point. Gloriously unfair and fun. I wasn't convinced by the 6v6 player count but it seems to work very well on the two maps they've offered (moon and venus). Also got to the lvl 8 beta cap last night, and I'm increasingly impressed with Bungie's very clean and streamlined integration of RPG elements, especially the way they've avoided cluttering the menu screens with numbers or tedious inventory juggling. Will be interesting to see what the sub-class special powers do at the higher unlock levels. All in all, after the beta, I'm properly stoked for the full game. Shame I've 'pledged' to be a good boy and wait until my missus gets me a PS4 for chrimble!
