I know matchmaking for the raid could cause issues with people trying to co ordinate the game but surely for the nightfall they should have it in place??
I posted on 3 sites to do a raid on Saturday and not one reply, so without a better system I'm doomed to stay at level 29.
Shards etc I get through the daily stuff at the highest level but yet again the game doesn't actually let you know you can do it at a higher level ha ha. A double edged sword with the daily stuff as if you're a lower level with poor weapons your not able to attempt these, ironic that you want to level up your stuff by doing these.
The game is very geared up towards playing with others and unfortunately gives you a bum deal if you play on your own. Like making solo runs of the nightfall harder than they used to be so you need teammates!
I still enjoy playing this and have put close to 200 hours into it so I do know how to play the game, just not how bungie wants you to ha ha
You can easily address this. Every time you meet a decent player on a strike, a raid, or even a public event, send them a friend request. Quite often, they'll accept, and before long you'll have a decent list of regulars who you can drop-in to events with. Another good idea is to accept game requests from strangers in the tower, if you ever receive any. You're right - the game is absolutely geared towards multiple players, and for that reason you need to build your friends list up. Sure, you'll come across some idiots along the way, but on the whole, most people seem to be pretty decent.

I find www.destinylfg.net is the best website for finding players to help or finding a team to join. At 29 you should be easily about to join a normal raid as you'll be over leveled for it.

Will check out that site, thanks.
New update tonight. No longer need asendant shards/energy to upgrade exotics, now need an exotic shard, 7 coins off xur!
A bit steep IMO and as a solo player getting coins isn't too easy. Thanks again bungie

Do we know what these apparent changes to exotic weapons are yet, or are bungie just posting any old **** hoping we wouldn't notice? No good saying that you've changed them and not said how

Nerfed a couple and changed the way a few handle.
Can now buy materials, 20 for 10 marks I think.
Annoying how they've changed the upgrading for me but others will love it.

they fixed pushing the templer in the raid and nerfed the suros a bit more, i didn't feel it was that great a weapon to be honest so not sure why they nerfed it more it certainly isn't useful in the crucible as you can get one hitted by a pulse riffle or two hitted with a shotgun in the time it takes to get a kill with it.

and worst of all they have changed the rewards for the public event you now just get a mote of light and not an ascendant shards or energy. The final upgrade on exotics now requires only one of the new exotic shards they have introduced all other upgrades just require glimmer and resorces. the accendant shards are harder to come by though, they can be got from xur from 7 strange coins, or by dismantling unwanted exotics.

That's a pretty nice looking change to bad juju. Will look forward to digging mine out of storage

New trailer for The Dark Below can now be selected in-game, must be trying to push DLC's sales I guess.

Templar is proving to be a pain on hard might give this guide a shot to see if it works.

I got Ascendant materials from Public Events today. On one of them I got one of each from the Walker at the Divide.

This patch is great for people with no desire or time to endlessly grind materials on patrol. Especially trading marks for mats.

After doing the daily, a patrol and spending an hour or so in the crucible last night, I ended up with more upgrade materials than you'd get from hours of mind numbing crate hunting!

Slight stealth nerf on the Hawkmoon tho :/

Did you not do any strikes, raids, patrols or crucibal stuff? the single player stuff is pretty easy to polish off quickly, i found the game became more intresting once that stuff was out of the way. its all about loot after the story bits finished. The games most fun when tackling the harder stuff like the weekly or nightfalls strikes or working out how to get through the vault of glass with a team.

Cant wait for the new raid to land but I'm gonna be away on the 10th when this comes out it would seem though
