After a very long wait for it to download I finally got to play the game briefly this morning and hopped straight to TDM. I'm on PC this time and the optimisation seems a bit iffy in places. It's in no way a taxing graphics powerhouse of a game but as soon as I started tinkering with settings the game ran iffy. I set it to optimal and its fine, clear as a bell with no issues at all.
I need to get back in the swing of it but so far it seems solid enough. The maps still lean towards multidoor arenas rather than more realistic areas that MW had but the added mobility seems to lessen the frustrations that Ghosts had. Despite the aesthetic similarities, this isn't like Titanfall either. All that's really been added to the formula is a double jump. It speeds your mobility between floors and coupled with the air dash makes you a harder target to hit but this is balanced by having less health points. It's very much still a CoD game. I need to get more used to the maps but it makes a better impression than the weak Ghosts did at the least and there's alot to unlock in the mp for progresssion in the ranks.
