Johnny Come Lately I may be, but I only got round to sitting down with this last night - what a ****ing excellent game it is so far; only on night 2, but I love the whole process - spying on the guests is top notch fun & piecing together the clues is quality.

It's great - can't wait to play some more.

Just gone back to this today. Think I might need a guide for some things. The slight annoyance with the game is your constantly vanishing "health", and characters that chase after you like the pink lizard nurse!!


Down to the last two guests to stamp now. Then Golden 'boy and whatever lies beyond that.. 8hrs in so far.

Its getting frustrating now as its getting difficult to move around without being pwn3d by one of the guests when spying or getting hold of items etc. Some are annoying, like the Mommy Dog or whatever HIS name is. He was knocked out when I swiped his soul, so how TF does he know it was me that took it? Hmm.

Had to revitalise this thread as this game can be picked up for about 6 quid these days, been meaning to get it for a while now and saw it new at this price so had to give it a go.

The bits that stood out for me are:

The whole detective thing is really cool sneaking about solving the puzzles and spying on people is great fun, with that constant worry of getting caught by one of the guests that is after you, i have to say the only times ive been caught were when i was not being carefull enough (im at soul 7 at the moment) its not a game that you can run about in to, you have to plan your movements carefully and it requires a degree of patience.

and While its cartooney its also quite macabre as well getting a syringe stuck in you head or the creepy voices you hear when your soul is full are all a bit well disturbing .

The status ailments add that extra bit of icing on the cake for me having to keep your character from getting a headache or to nervous are great and the whole sanity meter thing is a great way of keeping the pressure on you to make sure you look after your character.

its well worth the small price its going for these days so pick it up while you can.

This is truly a superb game, and it was only ?20 when it was new! Although it's cartoony the scenarios, characters and plot will haunt you for a long time. Alcoholism, schizophrenia, psychosis and pornography all tied up in a nice child-friendly bundle.
